The Paper Shelter DT - Anything goes

Good Morning my friends!! Can't believe it's Wednesday already! Why are there never enough hours in the day? The weeks just fly past don't they?! Anyhooo today's card is for The Paper Shelter and guess what, we have a fabulous theme of "Anything Goes" so there are no excuses for you joining us this time hehe! I have used one of the gorgeous new images called "Let's go to sleep" and you can find her here. The dps are also from The Paper Shelter, Let's make a Picnic range and can be found here. The ribbon and pearls are from my stash and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Simply Magnolia - Love is in the air!!

Morning Everybody! Hope you're all having a great weekend. Today's card I have to share with you is for our new challenge over at Simply Magnolia and this week it's "Love is in the air"! Pretty easy theme don't you think?I've used Tilda with hearts and cut out a heart shaped mat out of kraft cardstock to mount her onto. The true love sentiment is from Whimsy stamps. The dps I have used are from my stash and for the life of me I can't remember where they're from. The lace and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pearls from my stash.

The Sugar Bowl / Simply Sassy - Card for fun!

Afternoon my friends!! Can you believe I've had time to make another card just for fun and used a Simply Sassy stamp, I just luv this sweet girl with her bunny! I've decided the follow the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl so I'll be entering this card into their challenge. The dps I have used are all Magnolia backed onto coredinations cardstock. The three strips across are ribbons from my stash and I've used some card candi from Craftwork cards. The doily is also from my stash and the swirl is a doohickey die. The sentiment is from LOTV.

Here is the close up of my image coloured in with Copics as always. Simply Sassy also have a challenge running to be featured in their header so I'll be entering this card there too. Just Magnolia DT - Bingo

Morning All!! Yipee, Friday again and time for a brand new challenge over at Just Magnolia. This week the lovely Donalda has chosen "Bingo" for us to follow so many choices for you there. I decided to eventually ink up this sweet cheerleader Tilda. The dps I have used are by Tim Holtz and I've layered them onto coredinations cardstock. The seam binding/ribbon is from The Ribbon Girls. The lace and flowers are all from the one and only Wild Orchid Crafts and the pearls are from my stash.

Elphine House Australia DT - I scream, you scream!!

Hiya all my blogging buddies!! WOW, can you believe it's already our fourth challenge over at Elphine House Australia? I can't lol! It's just gone by so quickly! Anyhow, this fortnights challenge is "I scream, you scream!" Of course I had to use "Tommy - Tell tail of Ice cream" for my card and I'm not too sure where I got these dps from but somehow I think they're DCWV but don't hold me to it lol!

Karens Doodles DT - Punches

Morning Folks!! Hope you all had a good weekend and are ready for another week. Well as it's Monday morning that means it's time for a brand new challenge theme over at Karens Doodles and this week it's all about punches. For my card I've used "Pretty Unicorn and flower set" . My dps are Fizzy Moon Celebrations and I've matted onto coredination cardstock. The punched border is an MS doily lace punch and the ribbon is from my stash.

I have coloured the unicorn in with my Copics and added glamour dust to his mane, tail and all the flowers. I have followed the sketch from Pink Ink Sketch Challenges so I'll be entering my card into their challenge. Thanks for stopping by. A card just for fun!!

Been dying to ink up this sweet Cherry Pip by Sugar Nellie so she was the first thing I reached for!

Coloured her in with my Copics and followed the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl so I'll be entering my card into their challenge. Just Magnolia DT - No ordinary sentiment

Good Morning Luvlies!! Woohooo, it's Friday and time for a new challenge over at Just Magnolia. This week the lovely Claudia has chosen our theme and she would like to see different sentiments, not just your average/usual ones but something a bit more expressive.
I chose to do an easel card to accommodate for the sentiment hehe! I stamped and masked Tilda and then used the star background which has virtually taken up my whole card lol.

The sentiment is from a sheet that I bought of QVC ages ago and forgot about (bowing head in shame lol). How many of you do that? Come on be honest now! I have stamped it onto a doohickey tag and threaded some ribbon from my stash throught it.

As always I have coloured Tilda in with my Copics. The flower to the left is a doohickey die and I cut two of them and put a pearl brad through. The swirl is my famous doohickey that I don't tire of hehe! All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pearl spray I picked up at Hobbycraft. I will be entering this card into the following challenges :

Crafters Companion DT - Humphrey decoupage sneak peek

Morning All!!! I promised I'd be back with yet another sneaky peek for you so here I am! Hope you've all got your sky + boxes set and ready to record the show tomorrow at 12h00 on C&C channel 671! You're in for a treat. How sweet is this image? Perfect for either a new baby or Mother's day I think. The dps I have used are from the Humphrey cd and I'm not too sure if you can see but one of them has Happy Mother's Day printed all over it.

Crafters Companion DT - Humphrey decoupage sneak peek

Hiya All and thanks for stopping by today! I have a sneak peek for you of the new Humphrey decoupage that will be going on sale from tomorrow at 12h00 on Create and Craft TV. These decoupage kits were such a pleasure to work with, they pop out so easily! The dp I have used has been printed off the Humphrey cd from the previous launch and the ribbon is from my stash.

The Paper Shelter DT - Recipe

Morning Folks!! Hope the week has been good for you so far, we're half way towards the weekend woohoo! Anyhooo, today's card is for The Paper Shelter and we have a fab new challenge theme for you this week and it's a recipe. We want to see you use 3 papers, 2 images and 1 embellishment, simples! Unfortunately or fortunately not sure which way you would look at it but I never had much time to colour an image for this challenge so I merged two pre-printed images which I think are totally gorgeous and would luv to colour them when I have the time hehe. The nice thing about purchasing The Paper Shelter images is that you receive a pre-coloured image as well as one to colour yourself so in times of need for a quick card you can just print out the pre-coloured one as I have done lol!

The pretty dps that I have used are also available from The Paper Shelter and have already been sized to 6 x 6" which is just fab. All I needed to do was decide on a layout and mat and layer everything and voila, one card ready to go. I'll be entering my card into the following challenges : Addicted to stamps - Anything goes

Karens Doodles DT - Get in shape

Good Morning!! Well here we are and it's Monday again and guess what that means? Another fabby challenge over at Karens Doodles and our theme this week is to make a shaped card. For my card I decided to go plain and simple for a change and make a gatefold card using this gorgeous image called "Movie Date". Aren't they just the sweetest little couple?

Totally Papercrafts DT - Food and drink

Hi my blogging buddies! I'm back with post number 2 for the day and this one's for Totally Papercrafts Challenge, this week the lovely Caroline has chosen the theme of "Food and drink". I decided to use this fabby image from The Paper Shelter. I've been dying to colour her since she was released a little while ago and today's challenge was the perfect opportunity!

I have coloured her in with Copics and must say I'm quite impressed with how her hair turned out. I might just have eventually got the hang of it hehe. The dps are a freebie that I got out of one of the magazines and I've matted it all onto coredinations cardstock. The ribbon and buttons are from my stash and the flowers and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Morning my friends! Yipee, it's Friday again and time for a new challenge over at Just Magnolia. This week the lovely Jan has chosen our theme and it's "Holiday Fun". I decided to go with the gorgeous Tilda with her kite thinking this could be fun whilst on holiday lol! I luv this stamp as it's just so versatile.

Elphine House Australia DT - Fun in the Sun

Good Morning Folks!! I know, it's only midnight here in the UK so most of you will probably only see this in the morning. My card today is for the lovely Elphine House Australia and our challenge this fortnight is "Fun in the sun". I have used this gorgeous stamp designed by none other than the uber talented Elisabeth Bell called "Mummy's basket of apples". Isn't he just too sweet for words?! The dps are Prima "Jack n Jill" collection and I thought they'd be perfect for our theme as the one has watermelons, buckets & spades, cocktails and sunglasses on as well as the words picnics, water and a few others on.

Here is the close up of the little fella. I have coloured him in with my Copics. The raffia and wooden buttons are from my stash and I coloured the raffia in with the copics to match my colour combo. Morning All!! Well, here we are, Monday again. Who stole the weekend hehe?? Why do they always go so quick? Hope yours was good. On to today's card and it's for Karen's Doodles. This week our theme is buttons and bows, what could be easier? I've used this gorgeous image called Maggie and Me Now, isn't it beautiful? My dps are Pepper and friends which I've had for absolute ages and forgot about. What am I like lol?! They've all been matted onto coredinations cardstock. The doily, ribbon, buttons and dragonfly are all from my stash.

LOTV Challenge + a few others

Good Afternoon my friends!! Just a quick post from me. After the stressful week I've had and studying so hard to get my Indefinate Leave to Remain I thought I would just chill today and create a card just for fun for a change. The first stamp that sprung to mind was LOTV and it had to be this little Sweetie. I'll never forget when the dt were teasing us with samples of the new release, Bev used her and I was in luv hehe. I have coloured her in with very much the same colours as Bev's so thanks for the inspiration Hun. My card and colouring isn't half as fab as hers though but I tried! The dps I've used are all Magnolia and I've distressed all the edges. The sentiment is also one of LOTV's from last year's Christmas collection. The flowers and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I have coloured her in with Copics and used loads of glamour dust for sparkle. The stars have been coloured in with a Gold gel pen. I'll be entering this card into the following challenges :

Just Magnolia DT - Anything goes + glitter / Totally Papercrafts DT - Holidays

We're all going on a summer holiday, no more worries for a week or two (rofl)!! Well a girl can dream can't she? Bet you'll be singing this song all day now hehe. Anyway, onto todays card and again I have combined it for Just Magnolia where we have our special monthly challenge of anything goes and the lovely Mina has encorporated the option of glitter woohooo and for Totally Papercrafts where our lovely Cathy has chosen the theme of holidays.For my card I masked Tilda to sit on the suitcase whilst she is waiting for her ship to come in rofl! The dps are by Magnolia and the swirl and flower are doohickey dies. The postcard behind the Tilda image is a stamp by Maya Road which I've stamped with distress ink. The lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon and pearls are from my stash.

I have coloured my image in with Copics and used stardust stickles around the trims of her dungarees. I've also used a glitter gel pen around the suitcase. I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :

The Paper Shelter DT - Flowers, flowers, flowers

Good Morning Everybody!! I'm soooo excited as I write this post as this is my very first card for The Paper Shelter woohoo!!! Couldn't believe that I actually made it onto this fabby design team, I just love all their images and paper packs! For my card today I have used one of the new images called "Walk like an Egyptian". Isn't she just gorgeous?! Another reason for me deciding to use this image in particular was to practice colouring a darker skin tone which isn't showing up as dark as it is irl.

The dps I have used are also from The Paper Shelter and I have matted everything onto coredinations cardstock. The swirl is again my famous doohickey die and the flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. Pearls are from my stash. I will be entering my card into the following challenges :

Karens Doodles DT - Recycle

Morning All! Hope you've had a good weekend, ours was awesome as the weather was so lovely and hot just the way I like it lol! Anyway onto todays card which is for Karens Doodles and this week we want to see you use anything that you can recycle or have recycled. I have used buttons from my Hubby's old Army sewing kit, many years old hehe and also the string I have used is from his toolbox but shhhh don't tell him I was scratching in his things. The gorgeous image I have used is called "Christmas Puppy" but I think it can be used all year round and for any occassion not just Christmas. My dps are all by Kanban and came with the Patchwork Pals kit that I bought off QVC ages ago.
