The Creative Cottage DT - Celebrations

Morning Everybody!!
WOWZER, where does the time go to? There are definately not enough hours in a day lol! Can't believe a fortnight has passed since our last challenge, so here we are today with a brand new one over at The Creative Cottage Challenge Blog and this week the theme has been chosen by our very talented Rebekah and it's all about celebrations. For my card I have used papers from the Daisy Chain Farm Kit which are so scrummy, sadly the pic doesn't do them justice. I decided to use a Sugar Nellie image, isn't she just the sweetest? I find there stamps are just timeless and I never tire of them. I followed the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl so I'll be entering my card there. I've coloured her in with ProMarkers and used glamour dust on the pom pom's and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Over at Creative Inspirations this week they have a theme of pastel green, pink and cream so I'll be entering my card there also. Thanks for taking the time to visit and please do hop on over to the challenge blog where you can view the gorgeous creations our dt have come up with and join in with us. Have a super day. Lotsa luv xxxx

Platinum Popcorn

Hey All!!
Sorry I've been such a bad blogging buddy of late again! It's just been hectic but hopefully with all the boys going back to school later this week I'll be able to find my feet again (fingers crossed lol). Just wanted to share a card with you, it's Popcorn, isn't he just the sweetest? This platinum range is so gorgeous and I thoroughly enjoyed making this card, printing the backing papers off the cd was great. I have coloured him in with my ProMarkers and used flowersoft for the grass. The two soccer balls were some of the embellies printed off the cd too and I mounted them on foam pads for extra dimension.
I will be entering my card into the following challenges :
Allsorts Challenge - Park Inspiration
CES Challenge - Anything goes
Thanks for stopping by, will try and be back soon with another creation for you. Enjoy the last few days of school holidays. Lotsa luv xxxx

Charisma Cardz DT - Die Cuts

Morning All!!
Woohoo it's Thursday, which means it's almost weekend lol and the start of a brand new challenge over at Charisma Cardz and our theme, which has been chosen by the lovely Tasha is Die Cuts. I decided to go with the Christmas theme as I see there is a lot of it going around in blogland and it becomes kind of contagious hehe. I've used the gorgeous Popcorn from Crafters Companion and used the "out of the box" method with my nesties which I considered to be a die cut. Wish you could see the shimmer on the dps which are Papermania Luxury Xmas Collection, such a lush selection, wish I'd bought more.

As always, I have coloured my image in with ProMarkers. The poinsettias are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have edged them with stickles. I also used loads of stickles in the middle of the poinsettia that Popcorn is holding. The leaves are cut out with an MS punch (also die cuts) and the flat backed pearls are from my darling friend Paola, thanks girlfriend!!
I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :

A Pocket full of posies - All that glitters

A spoon full of sugar - Christmas in August

Crafty Catz - Animals

I did it creations - Anything goes

Thanks for popping over. Hope my card has at least inspired you enough to want to hop on over to the challenge blog and join in the fun this week. Lotsa luv xxxx

The Creative Cottage DT - Christmas Time

Morning Folks!!
Firstly I need to apologize for my lack of blogging lately but these school holidays are killing me and eating into my crafting time and we still have two weeks to go, grrrr lol!! Anyway, enough complaining for one day hehe. Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at The Creative Cottage Challenge Blog and the luvly Linda has chosen the theme of Christmas. For my card I have used the Oh Christmas Tree Kit which is available to purchase here. So loved working with this kit, the colours are really fab, the pinks and greens.
Had to show you all a close up of the snowflake which is a die that I used through my cuttlebug and then coated with Diamond Dust. The picture doesn't do it justice, irl it is so sparkly and I pushed a Papermania glitter brad through the centre.
I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday so I'll be entering my card there. Thanks for popping over and please be sure to check out the challenge blog for some gorgeous inspiration from the rest of the dt. Also just wanted to let you know that we have a surprise for you all on the 6th of September so mark the date in your diaries, you won't wanna miss out!!

This week the theme has been chosen by our lovely Tracie and she wants to see male themed cards "It's a Man's World". I decided to get a head start on Xmas cards and went with this gorgeous image by Mo Manning, isn't he adorable? My dps are a download that I got for last Xmas and for the life of me can't remember where from, must come with the date of birth hehe!! The image, as always, has been coloured in with ProMarkers which are available at The Secret Crafter Store. The large snowflake is a die which I put thru the cuttlebug, coated it with glossy accents and then diamond dust, all of which are available at the Secret Crafter store . Totally Papercrafts DT - By the sea

Morning All!!
TGIF! Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at Totally Papercrafts and our theme of "By the Sea" has been chosen by our fabulous Sue. We are sponsored this week by the AI factory and the winner will receive a fabby $10 credit to spend in their store. I have chosen to use Mermaid Tilda, been dying to ink her up and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. I have coloured her in with Promarkers and tried something that I saw on Create and Craft tv a while back but have never had the opportunity to try it until now woohoo! I filled a bag with hair gel and placed it over Tilda so that it looks like she's actually in the water. My dps are Magnolia as are all the embellies and sentiment which were part of the summer kit. The porthole I made with two different sized circles and brads. I'll be entering my card into the Just Magnolia Challenge which is to use acetate which I have done as the porthole window.
Also gonna enter it in the Magnolia Down Under Challenge which is a nice easy theme of birthdays.
Please do pop on over to the challenge blog and see the inspiration our fabby design team have created for you. Thanks for peeking. Hope you all have a brilliant weekend! Lotsa luv xxxx

Charisma Cardz DT - Teddy Bears!!

Happy Thursday Everybody!!
Hope you've all had a good week so far. Who kidnapped summer?? Please could you return him lol! Hasn't the weather been horrid? Anyway enough complaining and onto todays card which sees the start of a brand new challenge over at Charisma Cardz. This week the theme was chosen by the lovely Allison and it's all about Teddy Bears, how much fun is that? The image I have used was especially drawn up for us to fit in with our challenge by the uber talented Lyndsey from Sassy Studio, how fab is that?! And such a gorgeous image too. As always I have coloured my image with ProMarkers and used some ultra fine flowersoft on the teddy bears. My dps are all Basic Grey Cappella. The swirl that I have stamped to the side of the image is from Crafty Individuals and I coated it with mica powders. Wish you could see the shimmer on it, it's sooo beautiful but sadly does not photograph that way. The lace, pearls and wooden teddy are from my stash and the cherry blossoms are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
As I have followed the sketch over at Passion for Promarkers, I'll be entering my card into their challenge. Hope my card has inspired you enough to want to come and join in the fun this week and check out what my teamies have made for you too!! Crafters Companion - It takes a long time to grow an old friend

Hi All!!
Just a quick post to share with you another one of the Crafters Companion stamps. They are just so cute, I'm really loving them!! Again I have used the backing papers from the cd. I've coloured my image in with ProMarkers and used glamour dust on the water drops from the can. The border was done with an MS punch and the blooms are from the one and only Wild Orchid Crafts.
Thanks for sharing in my bit of excitement and for stopping by. Lotsa luv xxxx

Crafters Companion - Little Princess

Evening All!!!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, sad it's always over too quick isn't it?! Eventually I was able to have a little play with my new stamps & cd and boy did I enjoy myself. I've used the Little Princess and all the backing papers are printed from the cd, could have sat for hours playing with colour combos and different styles. How unusual that I chose pink (wink, wink)! Sadly as they're pastel colours you can't see the true beauty of them but irl they are just gorgeous. I also tried a different technique for colouring her hair which was a fab tutorial by Michele Roos, very different but I think it worked out well for this image. As always she has been coloured in with ProMarkers. All the little stars around her I have sprinkled with glamour dust and the tiny hearts with glossy accents. On her crown and around her neck I have used tiny flat backed pearls from Prima. Her wand also got a good coating of glossy accents. The ribbon and blooms are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I will be entering this card into the Create 4 Fun challenge as I have followed their sketch. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy what's left of the evening. Lotsa luv xxxxx

One Stitch at a time DT - Sketch

Good Afternoon Everybody!!
It's Sunday afternoon already (sob) but one consolation - it's time for a brand new challenge over at OSAAT and this week we have a fabby sketch for you to follow. Another win is that we have not one but two sponsors for the challenge woohoo. They are Sew Many Cards and Hobby Habitat and don't forget Stitchy Bear Stamps have their own store too with quite a few new creators and marvellous images.

For my card I have used this sweet little image sponsored by the lovely Angela at Sew Many Cards, isn't it a sweetie? My dps are Tim Holtz but sadly the lushness of them doesn't show up too well in the pic. The gorgeous ribbon is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pearls are from the hobby house. Can you believe I have no flowers on my card? Neither can I hehe!
Here is the close up of this sweet image which I have coloured in with ProMarkers. I have used glamour dust galore around the rim of the hat as well as the bow around the hat and on the feathers I have used flower soft. For the necklace I used 3mm pearls which are also from the hobby house.
I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :
Allsorts Challenge - Dressing up
Digital Tuesday - Dazzle me
Paperplay Challenge - Anything goes
Please do pop on over to the challenge blog and get some inspiration from the fabby dt so that you can join in the fun with us and stand a chance of winning some great prizes. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy what's left of your weekend. Lotsa luv xxxx

I have used their dps and the sentiment is one of their's too. I have used the gorgeous fairy stamp from Lily of the Valley and as usual have coloured her in with ProMarkers. Again, not too clear in the pic but I have used glamour dust on her wings, around the flowers that she is smelling and the flowers in her hair. Oooo how I luv LOTV's images!! The ribbon I have used is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the flowers are from Hobbycraft, bought them ages ago and actually forgot I had them, how sad is that hehe?!!!!
