Cuddly Buddly DT

Afternoon my lovely friends!  Hope you've had a good week so far.  The weather hasn't been too bad but I don't wanna spook it so I'll be quiet for now lol.  Today I'm sharing with you a card that I've made for Cuddly Buddly using the gorgeous Summer Boy Fairy by Picture Kitchen Studio.
The dps I have used are Kim's digi papers - A patchwork of papers - Red.  Aren't they just scrummy?  And you can get them in all colours too.  The ribbon and pearls are from my stash and the fence die is by Magnolia.  Oooo and I almost forgot to mention that I pulled out the old sewing machine and stitched round the edges of the image and main dp.
I have coloured the little man in with my Copics of which you could find in store too.  I then used Crafters Companion's spray and sparkle, Iridescent, on his wings which is sadly not showing up too well in the pic but it's there I promise lol.  Hope you enjoy the rest of your week my friends and thanks for stopping by.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

My cake adventures!!

Morning my lovely followers!  Hope you had a good weekend.  Mine was rather hectic to say the least hehe.  Luved every minute of it though as I was creating this cake for my darling son's birthday.
WOW!  Never realised how time consuming it is to decorate cakes but as I said previously, I'm luving every minute of it!!  The shoe is made out of sugarpaste from my own template and the "All Star" was printed off.  The shoebox is chocolate cake covered with ganache and then fondant and the name and age are sugarpaste too so everything is edible.
Thanks so much for stopping by.  Hoping to be back later with a card.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

Morning Luvlies!!!  WOW, how great has the weather been for us here in the UK?!  Sunshine at last lol.  Sadly I think it'll be short lived as they say the rain is back tomorrow grrrrr.  Anyways onto today's card and it's for the lovely Paper Shelter.  This week our theme is "The Great Outdoors".
For my card I chose to use this little guy from the Happy Times Mega Pack.  Isn't he a sweetie and so perfect for those difficult and dreaded men's cards lol.  I added the "Dad" which is a stamp from my stash and coloured it in with my Copics and a wooden button with a bit of twine through.
Here is a close up of the little guy.  Fab isn't he?  Thanks for stopping by and do enjoy the sunshine while it lasts.  Hope you'll be able to join us over at The Paper Shelter this week.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

My cake adventures!!

Morning Folks!!  Just a really quick post from me this morning as I have loads to do!  With the monsters going back to school I can get stuck into cleaning this house (yuk).  Just wanted to share with you what I've been up to in the cake decorating world again.  I attended another course at Richard's Cakes in Manchester on Saturday and made this handbag cake.  What a brilliant day it was, had such a lovely time thanks to my dear friend Judith who had me giggling all day.

On Friday I made this Lion topper from sugarpaste.  Isn't he a sweetie?

All I can say is I'm having a blast!!  Who would have thought I would enjoy it this much, if I'd have known that I would have started this hobby years ago lol.

Thanks for stopping by, your comments mean the world to me!!  Have a great week.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

Cuddly Buddly DT - More Toby Tumble!

Morning Folks!!  Can't believe it's supposed to be summer with the rubbish weather we've been having.  I've not yet been able to pack away my winter clothes cause it's still too cold lol.  Anyway, enough grumbling for one day and onto a happier note.  I have another card to share with you of the gorgeous little Toby Tumble "Special friends" available from the Cuddly Buddly store here.
I decided to use my MS punch around the page for this card, haven't used it in ages.  The backing papers used are Kim's Digi Papers - Pretty Mix (pink) and are available here.  The sentiment is one of Karen Middleton's and is called Enchanted wishes which you could get here.  The huge butterfly is a Marianne die which is also stocked in store here.  The blooms are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I have, as always, coloured the image in with my Copics and added some stardust stickles on the bees wings and in the centre of the flowers.  Thanks for stopping by and enjoy what's left of the week.  Almost weekend woohooo.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx
