The Paper Shelter DT - Fancy Folds

Morning Peeps! Woohoo today sees a brand new challenge over at The Paper Shelter and this week we're wanting to see Fancy Folds. Unfortunately this is not one of my strengths tbh so I just did an easel card with a bit of a twist lol.The gorgeous image is called "Magic Bubble Bath" and the fab dps come with her. She can be purchased from the store here. The tags I've made from a Magnolia doohickey die and the sentiment is a rub on from my stash. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I have coloured the image in with Copics and used an X Cut die for the shaped mat. I then used Tim Holtz di Spun Sugar around the image although it's not very visible in the pic. I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :

Crafts and Me Stamps DT - Casting Down Imagination

Afternoon all you lovlies!! Welcome to my new followers too. Can you believe I clean forgot to post todays card, dunno where my head is at the minute but it's far away lol! Anyway this card I made for Crafts and Me Stamps and if you're a fan of mythical/fantasy as I am then you'll want to follow their blog as everyday of the week one of our very talented teamies posts a card so there is loads of inspiration to be had.Today I decided to use the beautiful Casting Down Imagination digi which is available to purchase and download here. I have used my gorgeous brand new Pion papers and distressed the edges with some Tim Holtz Brushed Corduroy. The blooms and lace are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pearls from my stash.

Sharing some fun on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon

Hello all you luvlies!! Hope all my buddies here in the UK are enjoying the gorgeous Spring weather we're having at the minute. Such a pleasure to be outdoors, just got back from walking the dog and boy did he have fun running all over the fields. We let him off his lead and he loved it! Anyway onto my card which is one I made just for fun.I have used one of Krista's gorgeous Saturated Canary images, aren't her images just the best? The dps I have used are yet again my faves at the minute from Nitwits and they're backed onto kraft cardstock. The swirl is a doohickey die and the beautiful blooms are the new lilies from Wild Orchid crafts.
I have used my trusted Copics (what else do I ever use hehe). I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :

A card for fun and the love of Mo!

Hiya all my blogging buddies! I made this card over the weekend just for fun and completely forgot to blog it!!! How silly can you get? The gorgeous little girl is called "Make a wish" and is one of Mo's fabby digis. The dps I have used are from Nitwits backed onto kraft cardstock and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps. The little butterfly is a MS punch and I've added pearls from my stash to make a little trail. The flowers and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I have coloured the image in with Copics as always. I'll be entering this card into the following challenges :

Another two Polka Doodles samples

Polka Doodles DT - New release sample card

Morning Luvlies!! Another very quick post from me this morning as I wanted to share with you another sample card I made for the new release cd rom by Polka Doodles. Don't forget Nikky will be on Create and Craft today at 9h00 and 14h00. Just a reminder as you'll not wanna miss this one! It's fandabidoo!!!!The image and dps are all printed off the cd rom and backed onto coredinations cardstock. Made the little bunting to mirror the dp and the pearls are from my stash.

Polka Doodles - New release tomorrow sneak peek!!

Evening Folks!! Very late post from me I know but just a quickie so I'll not waffle on! Thought I would share with you all a sneaky peek of what's being released tomorrow by the uber talented Nikky Hall, Polka Doodles. You'll not wanna miss the shows, she's on Create and Craft tomorrow morning at 9h00 and again at 14h00.This is one of the sample cards I made for the show. Isn't this image just the sweetest little girl? And all the dps on the cd rom are fantabulous!!
As always I have coloured in with my Copics. The sentiment is off the same cd and I've added some faux stitching. The blooms are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I'll be entering this card into the Mad for Markers challenge as they're wanting you to use R & RV colours which I have (RV000, R83, R81). The Paper Shelter DT - Winters Blues

Morning Peeps!! Can't believe we're half way through the week already, what's happened? Somebody has stolen my time lol. Anyway best I get onto today's card and it's for The Paper Shelter and this week our challenge is "Winter Blues". I'm so loving the winter blues and kraft card at the moment so this card was a pleasure to make.
I've used one of our relatively new images called "Mucha Influence" and she is available to purchase from the webstore here. The dps I have used are by Nitwits yet again, backed onto kraft cardstock. I decided to bring out the old sewing machine and stitched around the image. The ribbon and pearls are from my stash and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Coloured in, as usual, with my trusted Copic markers. Colours used are B24, B23, B21, E 37, E35, E33, B000 and C1. I will be entering my card into the following challenges :

Crafts and Me Stamps DT - Meet Smartie Pants

Afternoon Luvlies!! Just a quick post from me this afternoon as I wanted to share with you one of the latest releases from Crafts & Me and the gorgeous gal is called "Smartie Pants". She has been illustrated by the uber talented artist Hannah Lynn and is available to download now from the webstore here. The dps I have used are by Nitwits and I've matted them all onto kraft cardstock, seems to be my latest luv lol. The swirl, butterfly and lace flowers are all Magnolia doohickey dies and the roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
As always I have coloured my image in with Copics and edged the mat with Tim Holtz distress ink. I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :

Polka Doodles DT - Quick and easy Valentine's card

Morning fellow bloggers!! Hope the snow hasn't disrupted things too much for ya. Sadly we never really got any, it started snowing and then turned to sleet which then formed a layer of crunchy ice. Anyhoo onto todays card which is for Polka Doodles and this week we're wanting to see quick and easy Valentine's cards.I found all the elements for my card in the winer section of the Sundae of Seasons cd rom so that was simple, quick and easy hehe. Printed off the image, pre-coloured, the hearts and all the backing papers then backed it all onto coredinations cardstock and hey presto, one quick card done lol.
Here is a close up of the gorgeous image which is also available as a digi on the cd should you wish to colour in your own. For the love of it!!

Afternoon Folks! I'm back with my second post for the day and this time it's one I did just because I wanted to and because I'm so in luv with this darling image by Mo Manning. I've been dying to colour it in but haven't had the time so today I thought I would just make the time hehe.
I saw an awesome card that the uber talented Iulia, My Adored Adorables, had made with these cuties and that's when I fell in love. Her colouring is just amazing so I thought I would try and teach myself a couple of her techniques, hope you don't mind Hun but your work is just so inspirational and always gorgeous. Not that I could ever be as brilliant as her but I suppose I can try, maybe one day I'll get there lol.
I've coloured the image in with my Copics as usual. The dp I have used is by Magnolia, the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps, ribbon and pearls from my stash and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. Crafts and Me Challenges DT - New Image

Morning Luvlies!! I'm here with my dt card for the Crafts & Me Challenge and this week our theme is to use a brand new image that you've not yet used before. The image I chose is called "Janessa Fairy" and is a new release from Crafts and Me. Isn't she just gorgeous? She's available to purchase and download here.
The dps I have used are by Nitwits, thanks to the lovely Fleur from A Passion for Craft as I saw them on her fabulous blog. I have matted all my layers onto kraft cardstock. The pearls are from my stash and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I decided to use my doohickey die and add a tag to the front of the card.

As always I have coloured my image in with my trusted Copics and used some stardust stickles on all the hearts. I will be entering my card into the following challenges :

Just Magnolia DT - Anything goes with optional Valentine's theme

Morning All!! WOWZER, how cold is it here in the UK this morning?? I've just got in from the school run and the car is showing -5.5 brrrrrrrrr!! Anyway onto a happier and warmer subject and that is today's card which is for our challenge over at Just Magnolia. As it is our first challenge of the month that means our theme is Anything goes but as it is my week to host I chose the option of making a Valentine's card.I've been dying to ink up this little sweetie from the latest collection, hence the reason I chose a Valentine theme lol. I have taken my inspiration for this card from my uber talented teamie, Claudi, thanks Hun. The dps I have used are all Magnolias matted onto coredinations cardstock. The swirls are a doohickey die, the pearls and ribbon are from my stash and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I decided to bring out the old sewing machine too. I just luv the look of the stitching, wish I wasn't so lazy and brought it out more often hehe. As per usual I have coloured the images in with my Copics and tried a new colour scheme for her hair. The colours I used are E57, E55, E53 and E51, so what do you think? Joanna Sheen Challenge DT - Love is in the air!!

Morning!! Can't believe how cold it is brrrrr. Love staying in as my house is so nice and toasty warm lol. Anyhoo onto my card which is for The Paper Shelter and this week the theme is "Love is in the air" which is great to get you started with your Valentine cards.I decided to use "Kisses" which is available to purchase from the webstore here. The backing paper I used is also from The Paper Shelter called "The Sweetest Love" paper pack and is available here. The sentiment is from Whimsy stamps, pearls from my stash and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.As always my image has been coloured in with Copics and I tried a bit of a new technique, drawing grass.
