Totally Papercrafts DT - Time to party!

Morning Bloggers!! Oh my word, the big freeze has hit us again brrrrr!!!! Wouldn't mind so much if we had to snow to go with it but NOTHING, we never see it here in Worcester sadly! OK enough winging and onto today challenge card which is the last for the year with Totally Papercrafts, we're taking a break until January. Today's theme has been chosen by the lovely boss lady Ria and she says it's "Time to Party". I decided to eventually ink up this little darling who's having a right old strop rofl!! She's one of the new releases from LOTV that I bought at the NEC last month, isn't she just gorgeous?! All the dps are Magnolia and so scrummy but I can never bring myself to use them, they're too nice (if that makes any sense pmsl).

Again I have coloured with Copics and the ribbon and charm are from my stash. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts (as if I ever use any other hehe). The beautiful swirls are a Marianne die and I have smothered them with glamour dust so they sparkle so brilliantly. The sentiment is also one of the new releases from LOTV. Charisma Cardz DT - New Year

Good Morning!! Can you believe it's only 9 days to Christmas, how scary is that?! I'm nowhere near ready yet (gulp)! Anyway onto today's challenge over at Charisma Cardz, it's our second last for the year, and this week the theme is New Year Celebrations. I decided to go with a general card with a sentiment that reads "Wishing you sunshine all year through" which I thought could be appropriate for a New Year's card rather than the usual "Happy New Year" sentiment.I have used DCWV papers, Nana's Nursery and the gorgeous Hippie Chick by Sugar Nellie which I've coloured with Copics. The butterfly, which just in case you've not noticed me using more often lately, is a die from Little Claire's which I luurrvveee and the lace around my image is a Marianne die. The sentiment is one of LOTV's that I bought at the NEC in November and all the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I've used stardust stickles all around the image and sentiment and on the butterfly too.

I was so excited when I saw that funky kits got more stock in of this cutie pie as I missed her when they had her from the launch. I think she is just sooooooo beautiful and can be used for so many different occassions. I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :
Bunny Zoe's - Sparkle and shine
CES Challenge - Anything but a Christmas Card
Craft your Days Away - Punch it out
Flutterby Wednesday - Anything goes
Sparkle Dreams - Sketch
Fab 'n Funky - Quick & Easy does it
Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to hop on over to Charisma Cardz' blog for some fab inspiration from the rest of the dt and join in with the challenge. I'll be back tomorrow with my card for Totally Papercrafts so until then lotsa luv xxxxx

Hi All!!! Well here I am with the last of the Victorian Sweetheart previews from Bizzy Bec's and this gorgeous gal is Savannah.

Again I have coloured her in with my Copics and decided to cut her out and pop her up on some glue gel for some extra dimension. The gorgeous dps (which the pic sadly doesn't do them justice) are gcd "Ella Blue" and are so rich in colour. The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and the flat backed pearls are from my stash, I just lay them down free hand cause I thought these kinda gals look good with pearls rofl.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to hop on over to Bizzy Bec's Store Blog as it's your last chance to enter into the fabby prize draw to win all six of these beauties. Lotsa luv xxxx

Hi Everyone! WOW, I can't believe it's already Day 5 of the previews of these gorgeous Victorian Sweethearts from Bizzy Becs Store and today I have the sweet Georgia to introduce to you! I've decided to go clean and simple again today as I think these girls are so lovely in themselves, didn't wanna overwhelm the card with too much like I normally do rofl! Also didn't wanna cover up too much of the dps, they are from a Laura Ashley paper pack called "Contemporary". If you click on the pic you'll get a larger view and will be able to see the colours better, they are grey, yellow, green and white and so pretty. I've also used a MS border punch and the pearls and ribbon are from my stash.
Just had to show you a close up of the image as I was quite pleased with the outcome. I followed a tutorial by the uber talented Dena to get this lovely sparkly look. Thank you so much Sweetie, I luv it! If you have a chance do hop on over there and check it out for yourself. I'll be entering this card into the Colour Create Challenge as this week their colour combo is Grey, green & White.

Those of you that know me will understand that this is not as full as my cards usually are but I think it works. My dps are DCWV Nana's Nursery, they are so lush and embossed and glittered beautifully. I've used a Martha Stewart punch around the page for the second layer.

The requirements for the challenge were white on white (WOW) with the only colour being on your image and also to use one of the new Sassy Girls. I decided to use "Pillow Talk" as I so luv her long hair, isn't it just gorgeous?
I've coloured her in with my Copics and cut out with a nestie. I've matted all the layers onto heavily glittered card from my stash. Have used a cuttlebug embossing folder for the second layer, the butterfly is a die from Little Claire which I have layered up with glue gel and lifted the wings for some dimension. The lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts, the flower from Hobbycraft and the ribbon is from my stash.
Here is the prize on offer :

Totally Papercrafts DT - Christmas Punches

Morning All!! Well, I am feeling a whole lot better this morning, just can't shake the cough though but we'll get there! Can you believe it's Friday again and already the 3rd of December? Friday means another challenge over at Totally Papercrafts and this week our lovely Heidi has chosen the theme of Christmas Punches, easy peasy!! For my card I have chosen this gorgeous image by Mo Manning as she is having a dt call and I thought I would kill two birds with one stone lol! It would be an ultimate dream come true to work with her super images so please keep your fingers and toes crossed for me. The Christmas punches that I decided to use are Marianne snowflakes and I have layered three together with a spacer and diamante brad from the hobby house. I also used another of Marianne's dies for the swirl behind the flowers. The designer paper is by Magnolia which I purchased from Crafts U Love.

This gorgeous little girl has been coloured with Copics. Sadly the pics don't show all the bling as the weather has been really grey & dull. I've used loads of glamour dust on the frills around her nightgown, flowersoft for the top of the stocking, stickles on the stocking and diamond dust on the poinsettia's which are from Wild Orchid Crafts. If you click on the pic to get a larger view I'm sure you'll see all the bling lol! I'll be entering this card into the DP2 Challenge (Mo's Challenge) as this week their theme is glitz & glimmer.

Thanks for stopping by. Don't forget to hop on over to the challenge blog for some fabby inspiration by our talented design team and join in the fun with us! Hope you have a super weekend. Lotsa luv xxxx

Crafters Companion Monthly Challenge DT - Sketch

Hi All!!! Sorry i've been MIA but I'm not well at all! Just thought I would pop in quickly and upload my project for Crafters Companion Monthly Challenge. This month we have another fabby sketch for you to follow but the prize is just great, our generous Sara has offered the winner a £50 voucher so what are you waiting for? For my card I have used one of the gorgeous stamps from Jayne Nestorenko's Adorables range and stamped a few trees in the background. Sorry for the awful photo but those of you that live in the UK will understand that the weather has been awful. My card looks so dull in the pic but irl it's bright and sparkly, grrrrr.

Hopefully this close up is a bit clearer. I have coloured her in with Copics and used glamour dust on her hat and coat's trims, then on the trees I have added flowersoft which looks like real snow lol! I have used a couple of snowflake stamps all around the edges and saturated them with glamour dust too but sadly it's not showing up at all in the pic. The backing papers are all printed off the Adorables cd.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to hop on over to the challenge blog to get your inspiration from the fabulous dt and enter your own to be in the running of that £50 voucher! Lotsa luv xxxxx
