Apologies for my absence!!

Afternoon my beloved followers!  Firstly I feel I need to make a humble apology to all of you for the lack of posts coming from my blog.  Sadly my health took a bad turn and I decided to step down from most of my design teams.  Along with my health issues my mojo took a huge runner but am happy to say it has resurfaced.  In a bid to try and get myself going again I decided to dabble into cake decorating and must be honest, it has really appealed to me and also helped me overcome the wretched depressed state that I found myself in.  I have now decided that I would like to better myself with the cake decorating and start up my own little business so I am now open for any orders.

Just thought I should let you all know that from now on I will also be posting my cakes and bakes on this blog.  I started a page on facebook and would luv it if you could possibly like my page which is called "My little piece of Heaven too - Cakes by Caz.

Thought you might like to see one of my recent creations.  Thanks to all of you for your continued support even in my absence.  I hope you will continue to enjoy my blog.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

Polka Doodles DT - Let's hear it for the boys!!

Morning Folks!! Apologies for my absence but I have been really unwell for just over a week now. Anyhooo onto today's card and it's a new theme over at Polka Doodles Challenge. This week we'd luv to see your creations for the boys. I know, I know most of us dread the male cards but with this great Pretty Tuff cd that Nikky has brought out it makes life so much easier as it's jam packed with goodies just for the boys. The image, dp and sentiment are all printed off the cd which is fab, or have I already said that lol? As I've not been well it's great that I could just print an already coloured image but what's fab is that if you have the time and love your colouring like I do normally then there are loads of digis to choose from.
I matted the dps onto kraft cardstock, added a little string from my stash and popped the sentiment and some additional cars onto 3d foam for some dimension. Hope you'll be able to join us this week over at the Polka Doodles Challenge blog as Nikky is offering this cd as a prize together with some goodies from Marianne Designs. Thanks for stopping by. The dps I have used are all by Magnolia. I masked Tilda and used a digi image from MIC for the background. Thanks to the uber talented Kim Piggott for her inspiration and for giving me the idea to use this type of background.
