The Paper Shelter DT - Halloween

Morning Peeps!  Where does the time go?  Can you believe it's time for another challenge over at The Paper Shelter and this week it's all about Halloween!!
For my card I decided to go with this gorgeous new image called "Getting ready for Halloween".  I fell for it as it's not your traditional colours.  All I did was print it out and dolly it up with my fabulous new dies that I won from La-la land crafts, the haunted house and spiky leaf, matted it onto coredinations cardstock and added a few flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Shelter as the ever generous Veronica is offering a $30 voucher to the winner.  Have a great week!  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

Krista's Butterfly Baby

Morning Peeps!  Decided this morning that I wanted to make a card just for fun so I grabbed one of my absolute favourite artists of all time, Krista from Saturated Canary's image.  This one is called "Butterfly Baby", isn't she just delightful?  As with all of her images I just luv the beautiful big eyes.
I have used a patchwork effect dp for this card which I found in my stash and though quite appropriate for a baby girl and I've matted it onto coredinations cardstock.  The ribbon is from my stash and the die used is by Marianne Designs.  The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.
As always I have coloured her in with Copics.  Skin - E11, E00, R20; Hair - E55, E53, E51, E50; Wings and babygrow - E70, E42, E41, R85, R83, R81, RV000; Eyes - B24, B21; Shading - B000, C3, C1.  I will be entering my card into the following challenges :

Wild Orchid Challenge - Anything goes
Thanks for stopping by.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxxx

The Paper Shelter DT - Love beats all!!

Morning Luvlies!  How fab, we're midweek again so not long till the weekend lol.  Time for a new challenge theme over at The Paper Shelter and this week it's "LOVE BEATS ALL".
This week I have used a combination of elements from two seperate digis.  The image is called "Love in Venice" and the backing paper came with another digi called "Executive Woman".  Thought they fitted together quite well.  The sentiment is a stamp that I've had for absolute ages from Whimsy Stamps and the flowers come from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I have been rather busy with other samples of late so it was lovely to just be able to print off a ready coloured digi although this would not be my first choice as I really luv colouring in myself but fortunate for instances like this when you need a card in a hurry lol.  Hope you will find the time this week to join us over at The Paper Shelter for your chance to win the awesome prize of a $30 voucher.  Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a good week.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

Saturated Canary for fun!

Evening my friends!  Hope you've all been well.  I've been rather busy on the home front but decided to quickly make this card whilst I relax this evening.
The gorgeous image is one of Krista's newly released digi's called "Mousey Mo", isn't she adorable?  The dps are from my stash and are some that I've had forever, can't even remember where they came from lol.  The swirl is my all time fave Magnolia doohicky die, ribbon, gem clip and bulldog grip are from my stash and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I have coloured the image in with my Copics and added some faux stitching with a fineliner.  I will be entering my card into Saturated Canary's Challenge where their theme is to use office supplies as well as Wild Orchid Challenge who have an "Anything Goes" challenge.  Thanks for stopping by!  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

The Paper Shelter DT - Punch It

Morning Folks!!  That time of the week again for a new challenge theme over at The Paper Shelter.  This week our challenge is to use your punches!  I decided to go rather CAS with my card as I think the image speaks for itself and the backing paper is rather busy so I just added a few punched flowers with the addition of a couple of gems from my stash in the middle.
The gorgeous image I have used is called "Be my Valentine" and she comes complete with the backing paper and a couple of sentiments.  I have matted and layered onto coredinations cardstock.

Little Darling GDT - Shaped cards

Afternoon Peeps!!  Hope you've all had a good week and are as excited for the weekend as I am!  This is a happy and sad post lol.  Happy because it's my gdt card for Little Darlings and sad because it's my last post for them (sob).  It's really been a wonderful experience and I would just like to thank Angie and Sheri for giving me the opportunity to work with them, I loved every minute of it!
For my card I cut out the circle shape and then used a MS border punch all around to add detail.  The dp I have used is one that I found in my stash so sadly can't share with you where it's from as I have no clue hehe.  All the other dies I have used are doohickeys.  The ribbon and pearl pin are also from my stash and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Here is a close up of the beautiful stamp called "Free Hugs" by Saturated Canary and available at Little Darlings.  As always, I have coloured in with my Copics.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxxx

Little Darlings GDT

Hello my lovely blogging buddies!  Hope you've all had a good week.  Aren't you glad it's Friday?  Won't be sorry to see the back end of this week tbh.  Excited to share with you my project as guest designer for Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.
As the dt set a challenge for shaped cards this month I decided to make a little wall hanging instead using the "Just Hangin' Out" rubber stamp coupled with one of their background stamps.  The dp I used is by Magnolia, I know you can bearly see it with all the embellies but it's there lol.  I used a postcard stamp by Maja designs and tucked it in under the corner of the image, the swirl is a doohickey die, the lace doily, ribbon, lace and tulle are from my stash and the flower was from Pop's whose candy I won a while back.
As always I have coloured the image in with my Copics and looking at it now I think I possibly went a bit dark on the clouds hehe, looks like a storm is brewing in the background lol.  Everything has been matted onto Kraft cardstock.  Please do pop over to the Little Darlings blog and become a follower as you'll not wanna miss out on all the fabulous inspiration from their very talented design team.  Thanks for stopping by!  Here's wishing you a wonderful weekend.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

Morning Folks!  Where does the time go?  I can't believe it's a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter already!  This week we're wanting to see you use loads of layers, fab don't you think?
For my card I have used the gorgeous new "Lullaby Moon".  Precious don't you think?  I so luv every single image that the Paper Shelter have and it's always so difficult choosing which one to use for the challenges lol. All the dps I have used are by Nitwits and I've layered onto Kraft cardstock.  The clock is a Tim Holtz die, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and pearls and ribbon from my stash.
Here is a close up of the little Sweetie.  Not too happy with her hair but hey ho just gotta keep practising eh?!  Thanks so much for stopping by and I do hope you'll find the time to join in the fun with us this week over at The Paper Shelter.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

Little Darling GDT - Shaped Card

Good Afternoon my lovely followers!  Hope you've all had a good week, aren't you glad it's Friday?  I know I am lol.  Today's card is my guest design team card for the awesome Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.  This month they are focussing on shaped cards, which I must say is not a forte of mine hehe so it's been quite a challenge but so much fun!
I have been lucky enough to to get one of the exclusive stamps by the gorgeous Krista called "Summer".  She was an absolute dream to colour and I loved every minute of it!
The backing paper I chose to use is one I found in my stash and have no idea who it's by so sadly can't share that with you but it's so pretty, luv the soft colours and all the butterflies.  I have matted everything onto kraft cardstock.  The fence, swirl and butterfly are all Magnolia doohickey dies.  The ribbon is from my stash.
Here is a close up of the gorgeous stamp which I have coloured in with my trusted Copics.  I have used glossy accents on her eyes and on the strawberries but sadly it's not showing up in the pics.
And a sideways view.  I will be entering my card into the Saturated Canary Challenge who have a photo as inspiration.  Thanks so much for stopping by, here's wishing you a great weekend and hopefully fabulous weather to enjoy the bank holiday weekend for my friends here in the UK.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxxx

Little Darlings GDT - Shaped cards

Hello blogland!!  Apologies for having been so quiet but I'm sure you know how hectic things are around the house during the school holidays.  It is with much excitement that I write this post today as I am guest designing for Little Darling Rubber Stamps and I just luv every one of their stamps!
The dt's theme for the month is to make shaped cards, not square or rectangle.  The stamp I chose to use is called "Fresh Picked Flowers"  isn't she just a sweetheart?!  I've coupled her with "Bird Bath" stamp to create a little scene.  Added glossy accents to her eyes and the water in the bird bath and a bit of glamour dust to the flowers in her basket but sadly none of it is showing up in the pics.  The dps I have used are by First Edition Paper, the butterfly die is from Little Claires and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
As always I have coloured in with my trusted Copics but am not entirely happy with the colouring on this one, seems my mojo took a runner on me hehe!  Must be the holiday feeling and heat that's getting to me!!  Well that's it for today folks, hope you all have a wonderful weekend ahead.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx
