Some Exciting news from Polka Doodles!!!
AND we are totally excited about it. BIGTIME!!!!!!!
We were going to make this a subscription club with a bi-yearly signup but quite honestly in these current hard times Nikky didn't think it was fair to do that to our lovely customers. After all, why should we take all your cash up front when it's easy enough for us to take pre-orders each month instead? So this is what we shall do, to make it easier on your pockets. Quite simply, you will need to order by a set time which will be published when you purchase and then the kit will be despatched to you within the following few weeks. This will not be a monthly kit, but we are intending it will be each 7-8 weeks.
And best of all, Nikky will get to share her wonderfully talented Design Team with you all!! And one of them is ME wooohoooo!!!!!!!!! Nikky says we are absolutely brilliant and never get enough credit for the marvellous projects we make, so this is her chance to help us showcase our work and give you a little inspiration along the way. Each issue of the Chronicle will include at least 12 full step by step tutorial projects with loads of hints and tips and special club discounts and offers along the way too,
SO that's the jist of it - and I have been virtually BURSTING to tell you all this news which has been in the planning stages for some time now! So I truly hope we can tempt you to signup - we might not be the cheapest club but I honestly believe it will be the most inspiring club you can join, and we are trying our hardest to give you the maximum value we can. Until someone comes along and copies us, that is ; )

The Paper Shelter DT - The lace look
My card for our new challenge which starts today is using one of our newer digis called "Winter Princess" and she is available from the webshop here. Isn't she just fab?
I decided to us a MS punch around the page as I think it looks lacey enough to fit the theme. The gorgeous dp is also from The Paper Shelter and came with the image. The snowflake is a Marianne die.
As always the image has been coloured in with Copics and I've used flowersoft around her cape, on her boots and on the bird's hat. All the snow I have drowned in glamour dust so there's no shortage of sparkle here lol. I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :
Addicted to stamps - Snowflakes
Colour Create - Blue, silver, white
Creative Inspiration - Anything goes
Digital Tuesday - Winter wonderland
Fussy and fancy - Monochromatic and sparkle
Mad for markers - Christmas
My Mum's craft shop - Anything goes#
Hope you'll find the time in between all the festivities to join in with our challenge over at The Paper Shelter. Thanks for stopping by. I would also just like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas as I'm not too sure I'll be blogging much until after. Lotsa luv, hugs xxxxx

Polka Doodles DT - Looking through the window!
For my card I have used the gorgeous Fairy Flutterfly stamp and added some Diamond Dust in the window. The dp is from the Candy Doodles cd, isn't it just gorgeous? The black butterflies are punched and I've layered some flat back pearls onto them.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
Here is a close up of the sweet fairy that I have coloured in with Copics. Hope you will find the time to join in this fun challenge with us over at Polka Doodles. Have a lovely weekend. Lotsa luv, hugs xxxxx

The Paper Shelter DT - IT'S A BLOG HOP CELEBRATION!!!!
The dp I have used is from Magnolia. The trees are a Marianne die and I've edged them with a snow writer and glamour dust. The snowflake die is also by Marianne, the ribbon is from my stash and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I also used flowersoft on the trims of her clothing and her hat.
Here is the close up of the sweet image coloured in with a combination of Spectrum Noirs and Copics.
The swirl is a doohickey die and the snowflakes are all Marianne dies. The huge pearl brad in the centre of the snowflake is from Wild Orchid Crafts.
