Emerald Faeries Garden DT - Sugar 'n Spice (All things girly)

Good Evening Folks!! Most of you are probably asleep already hehe. I am so very excited as I write this post as it's my first dt card for The Emerald Faerie Garden. This week we have such a lovely theme of Sugar 'n Spice - All things girly, easy don't ya think? For my card I have used the gorgeous Boo & Snookie digi which is available to purchase here.

The dps that I have used are by First Edition Papers, Daydream pad and I've matted onto coredinations cardstock. The swirls, butterfly and leaves are doohickey dies and the flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. My image, as always, has been coloured in with Copics. I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :

Karens Doodles DT - Perfect Purples

Happy Monday Morning Peeps!! WOWZER, do we have a scorcher here today and I'm sooo happy as I just luv the heat. Start of a brand new week and that means a brand new challenge theme over at Karens Doodles. This week we'd like to see PERFECT PURPLES. Couldn't be easier. For my card I've used one of Karen's newer images called "Relax" and doesn't that bubble bath look so inviting?! The dps I have used are a combination of coredinations and DCWV and the blooms are from the one and only Wild Orchid Crafts.

As always my image has been coloured in with Copics and I've used some glossy accents on the bubbles for some shine. I'll be entering my card into the Sketch & Stash Challenge as I followed their fabby sketch.

Just Magnolia DT - Butterflies / Totally Papercrafts DT - Spots & Stripes

Morning Folks!! Woohoo favourite day for me again, WOW they do come by rather quickly though don't you think? Well todays card is once again for Just Magnolia and the lovely Pops has chosen one of my favourites, BUTTERFLIES! Also for Totally Papercrafts and my special friend Vicky has chosen SPOTS & STRIPES. I have used one of my darling new little Tilda's, how sweet does she look flying her kite? All the dps are from Magnolia's latest range too as are all the butterflies, hope I haven't done an overkill ROFL!

As usual I have coloured in with my Copics and used these pretty corner swirls from LOTV.

Thought I would show you a close up of this beautiful butterfly that I've coloured with Copics and then smothered yet again with stickles.

The little butterflies have also been coloured with Copics and stickled to within an inch of their life hehe. I will be entering my card into the following challenges :

Only one more sleepy!!! Another Adorables sneak peek!

Morning Peeps!!! Wooohooo only one more sleep to the new launch of the Adorables. Don't forget to tune in tomorrow at 12h00 for the Pick of the Week on Create and Craft tv. The little girl is off one of the stamp plates as is her dog and I masked him and put the present in his mouth. They're all off the same stamp plate. The backing papers are again printed off the cd and the pearls and ribbon are from my stash.

Again my image has been coloured in with Copics and I've cut the shape with a nestie. The border is an MS punch.

Crafters Companion DT - Adorables new release

Morning Folks!!! I'm back again with another sneak peek for Crafters Companions new release on Friday woohoo!!!! These stamps and the cd are so gorgeous and I've had such fun creating with them! The image coupled with the corners and sentiment are all from the stamp plate and the backing papers from the cd. All I did was add some pearls, a ribbon and an anchor charm which are all from my stash.

Image has been coloured in with my Copics. The little boy and the donkey are actually two seperate stamps as is the rope between them so I put them all together in one image. Again I have to say the possibilities are endless with these stamps! You won't wanna miss this Pick of the Week on Create and Craft on Friday!

Some exciting news!!

Morning!! Look at what I got wooohoooo!!!!!! I am sooooo excited that Deb has asked me to join her fabby design team that when I received the email last night I couldn't go to sleep hehe. These images are just up my alley, I've always loved this type of faerie and now I'm gonna be working with them. Thank you so much Deb!!!

JUST FOR FUN!!!!!!!

Hiya all my crafting buddies!! Just a very quick post from me as I'm almost out the door to do the dreaded school run hehe! WARNING, post is very picture heavy so be warned lol. Dunno when last I actually created a card just for fun and when I discovered these Emerald Faeries, I fell instantly in luv and couldn't wait to have a play. So here they are! Couldn't decide which one I wanted to use first so I chose three rofl!! My inspiration for this card came from the uber talented Angela Wood who created a stepper card with Magnolia images. Mine is nowhere near her gorgeous masterpiece but I just luved the scene she created and knew the Emerald Faeries would also look great in a similar fashion, so thank you Angela, you rock!

Aren't they just gorgeous?! Hope I've done them justice! They are available to purchase here. As always I've coloured them in with my Copics and smothered with glamour dust. The mushrooms with the snail on top is a Magnolia stamp which I've added and the swirl and butterfly are doohickey dies. The dps are all by Magnolia too. Can't wait to show you the rest.

Crafters Companion DT - New release launching Friday : Adorables

Good Evening!! Just a quick post from me tonight to share with you a sneak peek of the gorgeous new range of Adorables stamps and cd rom. The launch will take place on Friday on Create and Craft (Sky channel 671). You won't wanna miss this one, it's really gorgeous and so very versatile too. The dps I have used are printed off the cd rom and the little bucket and spade and shell on the sentiment are off the stamp plate with the little girl who I masked and then stamped the hat on as well as the sand in front of her. This is why I say the stamps are so versatile as every element on the plate is seperate so the possibilities are endless.

Coloured in with my Copics as always and the mat that I've layed my image on is a Nellie die. I'll be back tomorrow with another sneak peek for you. Thanks for stopping by. Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

Karens Doodles DT - Flower Power + A DT CALL!!

Good Monday Morning Peeps!! OK so who stole the weekend, please may I have it back lol! Woohoo, today we have a brand new challenge theme for you over at Karens Doodles and it is FLOWER POWER. How nice and simple is that one for ya?! I know for me it was easy peasy as I use flowers on every card and I know most of you do too so please come and join us. We also have a dt call out at the moment as we're looking for FIVE new teamies, yup that's right FIVE. Why not try out for the dt as Karen has the sweetest images that you'll luv working with. For my card I've used the image called "Pony Love", isn't it just darling? My dps are all by First Edition Papers "Sweet Owl" and I really luv this colour combo.

I've coloured my image in with Copics as usual and added teeny tiny pearls to her shirt and boots. I got these from my darling friend Paola, thanks babes!! The sentiment is from LOTV and the flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. I've followed the fabby sketch from Sketch Saturday so I'll be entering my card into their challenge.

Just Magnolia DT - Paper Piecing / Totally Papercrafts - Say it with dies/punches

Morning Peeps!! Guess what, it's my favourite day of the week again lol! Time for new challenges over at Just Magnolia and Totally Papercrafts woohooo. This week the lovely Michelle over at Just Magnolia has chosen Paper Piecing and the lovely Marion over at Totally Papercrafts has chosen to use dies/punches. Fortunately for me again I was able to combine the two challenges and just make one card. I've used two Magnolia images to create a little scene and the dps are all from Magnolia too as are the swirls which are again my favourite doohickey dies. The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and I've used an MS punch for the leaves.

My little scene has been coloured in with Copics and smothered with stardust stickles again hehe! I will be entering my card into the following challenges :

P.S. It has just been brought to my attention that a fellow blogger is under the impression that I have copied their card and not given them the credit for it. I would just like to state that it is by pure FLUKE that I used the same two stamped images on my card, nothing else is the same. I feel that the mushroom stamp was made to be used as a background stamp and I coincidentally used the butterfly Tilda. How many of you would have done the same???? Apologies if I've offended you by not giving you credit but I honestly did not COPY your card.

Charisma Cardz DT - Pink & Green

Morning All!!! Hope your week has been good so far! WOW, it's Thursday already and that means the start of a brand new challenge over at Charisma Cardz. This week the lovely Lora has chosen "Pink and Green" which I think is a fabby colour combo. I decided to use this much neglected LOTV stamp, isn't she a sweety? My dps are by Memory Box. The lace and flowers are from the one and only Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from my stash.

Crafters Companion DT - Another sneak peek of The Snowman

Hi again!! As promised I'm back again with yet another sneaky peek at tomorrow evening's new launch of The Snowman! Yup, Crafters Companion have done it again!Today I thought I'd show you something a bit different and not just cards made from the stamp plate but another feature off the cd rom which is this decoupaged snowman. Lovely if you're looking for a quick and easy card. I have sprayed him full of Spray & Sparkle which sadly is not showing up too well in the picture. The dps and sentiment are also printed off the cd.

Karens Doodles DT - Frame It

Morning All!! Can't believe it's Monday again, what happened to the weekend hehe?! Anyway here we are again with a brand new challenge theme over at Karen's Doodles and this week the theme is "Frame It", simples.
I have used this sweet image called First Kiss and the dps are by First Edition Papers, Up, up and Away. The frame I made was using an MS punch around the page on one of the dps. The swirl is a doohickey die, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is an everyday mini postage stamp by Whimsy that I won from the lovely Ann Vento's candy, thanks Hun!

As always I have coloured the sweeties in with my Copics and used some glossy accents on her shoes but sadly it's not showing up in the pic. I'll be entering this card into the Mad for Markers challenge as they would like to see brown hair and Stamp Something Challenge are wanting to see something punched.

Just Magnolia DT - Sketch / Totally Papercrafts DT - Summer

Morning Peeps!! Woohoo, favourite day of the week again lol! Today's card is for two of my dts yet again. Firstly Just Magnolia have a fab sketch by the uber talented Jacque and she wants to see loads of flowers too and then Totally Papercrafts have a summer theme which has been chosen by the lovely Sarah. I had to use this gorgeous Tilda as back home in South Africa it rains in summer. The dps I have used are all by Magnolia and I'm loving them, sure you'll be seeing them used loads more.

I have coloured Tilda in with my Copics and used distress ink and a swirl stamp around the image. The tag has also been distressed and is a doohickey die. The lace and flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and the Ribbon from The Ribbon Girl. I will be entering my card into the following challenges :

Charisma Cardz DT - How Old?? Put an age on it! / Elphine House DT

Morning Everybody!! Hope you've all had a good week so far! Well as it's Thursday that means the start of a brand new challenge theme over at Charisma Cardz and this week the lovely Joanne has chosen the theme of "How Old?" she would like to see you put an age on your card. I decided to use this darling little boy which is one of the brand new stamps by Elisabeth Bell over at Elphine House Australia, isn't he just too darling? The dps are from my stash and I think they're DCWV, I've had them for absolute ages hehe! The sentiment stamp is by LOTV, buttons from my stash, the huge ice cream cone is also from my stash and is beautifully glittered and in chipboard and the "6" is a glittered sticker.

KAREN'S DOODLES DT- Use brads and/or eyelets

Morning Luvlies!! Start of a new week again, where does the time go?? Well, from now on I'll be posting permanently on a Monday morning as today is my first dt card for the lovely Karen's Doodles and I'm so excited to be able to share it with you all! Our chosen theme for this week is Brads and/or Eyelets, what could be easier?! For my card I have used "Love at first sight", isn't it just one of the sweetest images? I have followed the sketch over at Hobbystempels so I'll be entering my card into their challenge. All dps used are by First Edition "Love letters". The swirl is a doohickey die and the blooms are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The brads are from the Hobbyhouse and the sentiment ticket is by Whimsy Stamps and I've used one of LOTV's wording stamps in it.

Just Magnolia DT - Anything goes / Totally Papercrafts DT - Let's get fruity

Morning Peeps!! Hope you've all had a good week. Mine was great cause I didn't have the school runs to do hehe and I've been catching up with dt work. Can you believe it's Friday again? My favourite day of the week yipeeee!!! My card is for two challenges again, Just Magnolia and Totally Papercrafts. As it's the first Friday of the month Just Magnolia's theme is Anything Goes and our host, the lovely Mina, has chosen an optional extra of lace. Over at Totally Papercrafts our theme is Let's get fruity and was chosen by our lovely Sue! The sweet Tilda (pardon the punn) that I've used is from the new Rainbow Collection as are the dps. Their collections just keep getting better don't you think? All the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I've been wanting to try this circle of flowers around an image for ages but keep forgetting, what am I like hehe?! The ribbon and charm are from my stash and the butterfly/dragonfly is a doohickey die.

Crafters Companion DT - Here comes summer

Good Morning All!! Hope you've had a good week so far, mine's been great as I've not had to leave the house and do the school runs with my boys being on holiday woohoo!!! More crafting time hehe. Well I can't believe another month is gone and we're back with a brand new challenge over at Crafters Companion. This month is a nice and easy one so I hope all of you will join as it is "Here comes Summer".I decided to do something very different and print off some decoupage from the brand new Humphrey cd. Isn't he just the sweetest little elephant?! The ribbon, butterfly and pearls are all from my stash. The backing paper is also printed off the cd.
