Charisma Cardz DT - Bling & Sparkles

Morning Folks!! Hope you've all had a good week so far! Well it's Thursday again so that means a brand new challenge over at Charisma Cardz and this week the lovely Sally has chosen our theme of "Bling and Sparkles", just up my alley lol! We have the fabulous Make it Crafty as our sponsor this week and I'm using their whimsical log digi stamp coupled with one of my darling Tildas. I had such fun colouring this image and setting the scene. I've also used a butterfly by Magnolia and drowned it in stickles hehe, just stuck the body down so that the wings pop. The flowers I've added are from Papirloftet and the pearls are from my stash.

I have coloured everything in with my Copics and used loads of stickles for the added bling. I will be entering my card into Make it Colourful's challenge as this week they are focusing on colouring backgrounds. I'll also be entering this card into the following challenges :

My wonderful day at the NEC!!!

Morning all my wonderful blogging buddies!! Just a quick post from me this morning to share with you the stash I bought yesterday at the NEC. As you can see I actually didn't spend much which I'm sure my DH is happy about rofl!! As I'm sure you'll notice there's not a Maggie in sight boohoo, I was terribly disappointed as not one stall had any Maggies and that's possibly why I didn't spend much hehe. I had such a fabulous day meeting up with loads of my teamies.
It was so great to meet all of you!! Firstly I met up with Jacqui and Bev at LOTV, we had some good giggles as we always do hehe. Then I met my lovely teamie Pat from Crafters Companion dt, so lovely to see you again Hun, mwah. Next I met up with the darling Emma (Crafty Emma), Sue (Scoopystuff) and Joey, they're all my teamies from Totally Papercrafts. I also met the beautiful Gemma who is my teamie on Charisma Cardz. Finally I met up with the beautiful Sara from Crafters Companion and also saw Leann, Clare and the lovely Jayne Nestorenko.
I also have some EXCITING NEWS but sadly have to keep it to myself for now but you'll know about it soon!!!!!!!!

Totally Papercrafts DT - Cuddly & Cute

Good Morning All!! WOW, am I on a high at the moment as I will shortly be leaving to spend my day at the NEC woohooo!!! Anyway, enough about me! Let's get onto today's challenge card which is for Totally Papercrafts and this week the darling Marion has chosen our theme of "Cuddly & Cute". I just couldn't resist this adorable image when it was released by Elisabeth Bell and got on to colour it immediately but kept it especially for this challenge as it's definately Cute and Cuddly!
Again I have used the gorgeous dps by First Edition, Sweet Owl. Looks like I'll have to get another pad rofl!

The blooms I've used are from Papirloftet and Wild Orchid Crafts. Ribbon and pearls are from my stash and the lace is also from Wild Orchid. The teddy button is from "Button It" who exhibit at the NEC so guess I'll be over there a little later to stock up as they have sooooooooooo many wooden buttons to choose from. As always I've coloured my image in with Copics.

Charisma Cardz DT - Birthday for a teen

Happy Thursday morning folks! Well here I am with a brand new challenge card for Charisma. This week the lovely Julia has chosen the theme of Birthday for a teen" which was exactly what I needed as my son will be turning 13 on Friday so I used this opportunity to make his card hehe. I have used one of the brand new images available from Bizzy Becs Blue Butterfly stamps range. His name is Cody, don't you think he's adorable?

I have coloured the muddy little guy in with Copics. The dps are DCWV "All about Boys" stack. The word DIRTY is a rub on as is the sentiment BOYS WILL BE BOYS. I cut out the stars that the 13 is on and popped them onto some foam pads. The Happy Birthday is also on foam pads and the Raffia lace is from my stash. It was white so I coloured it in with my Copics too. I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :

The Sugar Bowl Challenge

Good Morning again rofl!!! WOW post number two for the day but this is just gonna be a quick one! I decided to have a play last night with one of my much loved Sugar Nellies and I came up with this card following the sketch over at The Sugar Bowl. They always have such awesome prizes up for grabs so I thought I would take a chance and enter. The dps I have used are by Dovecraft called "Sugar and Spice" and I think they're perfect spring colours. I'm not too sure about this card but hey ho it's done and I'm not wasting it hehe.

I have coloured "Party Frills" in with my Copics and added a touch of stardust stickles to her frock. The sentiment is a rub on and the blooms are as always from Wild Orchid Crafts. I have again used my much loved doohickey swirl and leaves and all the pearls are from my darling friend Paola again, thanks Doll!

Bunny Zoe's GDT - Happy Birthday

Good Morning!! I'm so excited as I type this post as this is the card I've made for the monthly Bunny Zoe's Challenge as I was chosen last month to be on their GDT and I chose this gorgeous stamp to use!! Thank you so much Nikki for the wonderful opportunity! The theme for this month is "Happy Birthday" with lots of pearls. How easy is that, I can see hundreds of entries pouring in!

All my dps are from the First Edition Paper pad called Sweet Owl and I'm so loving this pad as half of the papers are glittered and the other half are double sided.
Here is a close up of the gorgeous stamp by Bildmalarna and I've coloured her in with my Copics. If you click on the picture to make it larger you will see all the sparkle too. I used glamour dust. The ribbon is from the Ribbon Box, the blooms are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Papirloftet and the little girl charm is also from Bunny Zoe's. I will be entering my card into the following challenges :

Totally Papercrafts DT - Shaped Cards

Morning!! Woohoooo it's Friday, are you ready for the weekend?! I know I am hehe. Well, as I'm sure most of you will be aware today is time for a brand new challenge over at Totally Papercrafts and this week the lovely Heidi has chosen the theme of "Shaped Cards". I've used one of the gorgeous new SWALK images for my card and decided on going with a heart shaped easel.

I have coloured in my image with Copics and used Spun Sugar di around the edges. The backing papers are printed off the cd and the blooms are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Apologies I've been MIA!!!

Just a quick post from me tonight, firstly I must apologise that I've been missing in action rofl! Been working behind the scenes for Crafters Companion and you'll be able to see some of the new releases on Friday as we're having a blog hop! The card that I am showing you this evening is also one that I did for them using one of Sheena's stamps.

I have used scrummy dps by First Edition Paper called Sweet Owl, irl they are so lush and sparkly. I decided to follow the sketch over at Friday Sketchers and then noticed that Rach had used the same dps that I'd already chosen hehe. Great minds think alike rofl!!

Here is a close up of the little sweetie pie which I have coloured in with Copics as usual. The sentiment is also from the stamp set and the ribbon is from my stash.

Crafters Companion DT - Easter

Afternoon Peeps!! Well, can you believe it's the 1st of March already? I can't rofl! As it's the 1st of the month that means the start of a new challenge over at Crafters Companion and this month we would love to see your easter creations. I've chosen to use one of the new SWALK images, I just luv these little cuties and it just shows you, by changing the sentiment, how versatile they can be! All the papers used are printed off the previous release cd.

As always my image has been coloured in with Copics and I decided to go for the plain and simple look with this one. The ribbon is from my stash and the blooms from Wild Orchid Crafts. Another new Maggie and play time woohooo!!!

Hi Everybody! Just a quick post from me again as I just had to share with you another one of my new Tilda's, how gorgeous is she?! Couldn't resist having a play with the new stash again and decided to follow the colour scheme over at Magnolia-licious which is pink and brown so I'll be entering my card into their challenge. Over at Magnolia Down Under their challenge is flower power this week so I'll enter my card there too and last but by no means least, I'll enter The Ribbon Girl's challenge as they have a colour scheme of cream, pink & brown. As always, whenever I play with my Maggies, I had such fun making this card. The lush dps are called Love Letters by First Edition papers (if you click on the picture to make it bigger you can see the glitter and embossing on the papers) and I've used core'dinations for the matting.

I have coloured Tilda in with my Copics. The swirl is again a doohickey. The tag that the sentiment is in is from the Whimsy ticket collection and I have used one of my own sentiments and then heat embossed it with Sheena Douglass' brass sparkle WOW embossing powders. As always the flowers and lace are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pearls are from my stash.

Totally Papercrafts DT - Paper piecing

Morning Folks!! Another week gone, I know I say this every week but time just flies by too quickly, where does it go? Anyway, onto today's card which is for Totally Papercrafts and this week the lovely Caroline has chosen the theme of paper piecing. Must be honest and say it's not my favourite, I just luv colouring in too much but I did enjoy the change. For my card I decided to go with one of the Simply Sassy Girls called Bad Hare Day, isn't she just devine? My dps are all Magnolia and I've again distressed the edges, just luving the finished result that distressing gives.

I have coloured her in with Copics and decided to paper piece her top and hair band. The sentiment I've had for yonks and am thinking it's from cuddly buddly. The swirl is again a doohickey die. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pearl sprays are from Hobbycraft. The leaves are from an MS punch. I will be entering this card into the Sugar Nellie facebook challenge as they are wanting to see paper piecing this week too. Will also be entering my card into the Fussy and Fancy challenge who are wanting to see embossing and/or paper piecing too. Also Stamp Something have a theme of something with flowers so I'll enter there too.

Easter Tilda

Hi All!!! Just a quick post as I'm rushing around as usual and the monsters are on holiday, so no rest for the wicked rofl!! My Magnolia stamp club kit arrived yesterday and I just couldn't resist having a play with my new stash! I used Tilda with the bunny and then masked her and stamped the wheelbarrow. Pinched the idea from my dearest friend Paola, thanks girlfriend. All dps used are Magnolia which I've had for absolute ages and forgot about (oopsie, think we all do that hehe).

I have coloured my image in with Copics and used some stickles above the flowers and flowersoft on the bunny's tail, hope you can see it?! Again I've used my doohickeys for the swirl and flowers. The pearls are from my stash and the flowers and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I will be entering this card into the following challenges :

Charisma Cardz DT - Black & White + 1

Morning All!!!! Hope you've had a good week so far. Can't believe another week is almost over. As it's Thursday I'm here with a card for a brand new challenge over at Charisma Cardz and this week the lovely Allison has chosen the theme of Black & White + one. I decided to ink up one of my gorgeous Tilda's that I've not yet had chance to play with, isn't she the sweetest?! Not sure where I got the dps from but somehow think they're imaginisce and the newspaper print is by Magnolia but you can barely see it through all the embellies rofl!! I've distressed all the edges too. I'll be entering this card into the Magnolia Down Under Challenge as their theme this week is distressing and Bunny Zoe's as their theme is Spring .... flowers everywhere! Also wanting to see distressing is Creative Inspirations so I'll be entering my card there too.

I've coloured her in with Copics and cut out with nesties. The swirls are a doohickey die as are the flowers and the border. The ribbon and tulle is from my stash and the huge brad is from Magnolia. All blooms are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Bizzy Becs Blue Butterfly DT - New Collection "Once upon a time" preview day 6

Good afternoon Luvlies!! I'm back again with the final preview of the "Once upon a Time" Collection and this one is called My Butterfly Friend. I'm actually quite sad that the previews are now over and I hope you've enjoyed them as much as I have! On that note I just wanted to let you know that we do have a new range of stamps being released in March so watch this space for some more lovely images.
For this card I've used papers from my stash and sadly can't remember exactly where they're from but somehow I'm thinking they're Kate Knight (don't hold me to it though hehe). I've used an MS punch around the page for the matting and layering.

I have coloured My Butterfly Friend in with my Copics and the smaller butterfly is an xcut punch and the larger is a die from Little Claire. The pearls are from my stash and the blooms are from Wild Orchid Crafts (as if you didn't already know that rofl). I'll be entering this card into the following challenges :

Bizzy Becs Blue Butterfly DT - Preview Day 4

Good Afternoon All!! Hope you all had a lovely weekend, can't believe it's over already, they just pass to quickly don't you think? As promised, I'm back today with another "Once upon a time" collection card and today I would like to introduce you to Teddy Cuddles.

Isn't she adorable with her little teddy and that smile on her face is just too sweet. I decided to follow the sketch over at sketch saturday so I'll be entering this card into their challenge. The dps are Laura Ashley's contemporary pack.
My image has been coloured in with Copics and I've used stardust stickles on the bottom of her dress for some bling. The blooms are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and I've sprayed them full of glimmer mist. The leaves are a doohickey die and the pearls are from my stash.

Bizzy Becs Blue Butterfly DT - New release preview day 3

Hi All!!! Here we go with preview number three from the "Once upon a Time" Collection and may I introduce to you Roses, Roses. Didn't I tell you all how lovely this new range is?! This time I have decided to go with white on white (WOW) so that you could focus on the image. I actually really luv doing WOW cards, think it just makes the image pop up don't you?

As you can see I decided to go with a linen textured cardstock for my WOW and coloured my image in with Copics. I then used most of my favourite dies, namely, doohickey swirl, doohickey flower and a Marianne Creatables which I layered the image onto with foam pads for extra dimension. The cluster I have used on top of the flower die is one that I received in my surprise package from Magnolia that I won off Mindy's blog a while back and I really love it, if anybody knows where I could purchase more of these could you please let me know as I've never actually seen them for sale.
