Elphine House Australia DT - Colour Combo : Pink & Blue

Hiya All!! Can't believe two weeks have passed since our last challenge over at Elphine House Australia, feels like just yesterday we were so excited for our first challenge and now we're on number two! Our challenge this fortnight is to use the colour combo of pink & blue, another one of my faves and an easy one for all of you to join in! I decided to use this adorable Elisabeth Bell imaged called "Greeting Chime". The dps I have used are by Pink Petticoat. Due to the sunshine my picture looks a little pale, yup that's right, I said sunshine! Not ofen we have that here hehe.

I have coloured my image in with Copics. The lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts as are some of the blooms. The large pink flower is from my darling friend Paola. The butterfly is an X Cut punch and I've used pearls from my stash.

Crafters Companion DT - New release blog hop + fabby prizes

Good Morning all you lovelies!! This is the reason I have been so quiet lately, busy with behind the scenes work for Crafters and loving it!! As I'm sure most of you will be aware the new Spectrum Noir pens were launched on Friday so all of us have been colouring our hearts out hehe. Well today we have a fabby blog hop showcasing the new SWALK and Humphrey stamps to be released at the end of the week. For my sneaky peek I decided to show you one of the new SWALK images first, isn't she just darling?!

I have coloured her in with the new Spectrum Noir Pens and they really are great, they just seem to blend so easily. All the backing papers have been printed off the cd rom.

Simply Magnolia DT - Pink, brown & cream

Morning Folks!! Happy Sunday to you all! Well, here I am with another challenge card for Simply Magnolia woohoo. The challenge this fortnight is to use the colours pink, brown and cream, one of my faves so I was quite chuffed. I decided to use Tilda with Lace Jeans as I haven't inked her up in quite a while. The dps are by Kanban and came with a kit that I bought off QVC jonks ago. Luv the patchwork hearts which sadly aren't showing up their true beauty as irl.

I have coloured my Tilda in with Copics and all the blooms and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I'll be entering this card into the It's a Magnolia Challenge as they are wanting to see lace. Just Magnolia DT - What's Cookin'

Morning Peeps!! Favourite day again woohooo! Todays card is for the fab Just Magnolia Challenge and this week the lovely Dena has chosen the theme of "What's Cookin'". Sadly this was the one and only Maggie stamp that I have to fit the bill hehe. An oldie but still a goodie. All the dps I have used are Magnolia and coredinations. The pearls are from my darling friend Paola again, mwah! The ribbon is from my stash and the blooms are Wild Orchid Crafts.

My image has again been coloured in with Copics. I'll be entering my card into the Magnolia Mania Challenge as I have followed their sketch. Morning All! Hope the weather's better where you are, it's really been rubbish here since Friday. Wish the rain would stop now hmmfff! Anyway, enough moaning and onto a brighter subject hehe. Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Top Tip Tuesday and guess what .... the gorgeous Emerald Faeries Challenge Blog is sponsoring a fabby prize! A couple of the dt have made cards for this challenge and here is my contribution. Are you ready for another SMASHING new launch from the fantabulous Crafters Companion?

These are absolutely fab as they have a chizel nib on the one end and a precision bullet nib on the other, very much like the Copics and they are also refillable!

Karens Doodles DT - Shape It Up (Make a shaped card)

Morning All!! Hope you've all had a good weekend, ours was wet and mizzy and today looks no different, yuk! Anyways onto today's card which is for the fabby Karens Doodles and this week the theme is "Shape It Up" so no square cards for a change hehe. I have used the gorgeous "God's Little Angel" for my card today, isn't she beautiful? I didn't feel she needed much colouring as to me angels are always in white so I just did a bit of shading on her clothing. The dps I have used are by First Edition papers "Up, up and Away" coupled with Kraft cardstock.

I have coloured in using my Copics. The swirl is yet again my doohickey die and the flowers are from Papirloftet and Wild Orchid Crafts. I'll be entering my card into the Simon Says Challenge whose theme is anything goes.

Just Magnolia DT - Pink, purple and pearls / Totally Papercrafts DT - Girly Girls

Morning Peeps! WOW, I can't believe it's my favourite day of the week already! They say the older you get the quicker the time goes so can you imagine when I'm 60 a week will feel like a day hehe (hopefully not). Anyway, today's card is for Just Magnolia and our lovely Mindy has chosen "Pink, purple and pearls" which are just up my alley! Also Totally Papercrafts are wanting a "Girly Girl" card, another fave of mine and I so enjoyed making this card! I chose to use the gorgeous Alva with Flower Maggie and the new mushroom with snail stamps. The dp is DCWV and is a great combo of pink and purple.

Have coloured in with my Copics. The ribbon and pearls are from my stash. The swirl and butterfly are both doohickey dies and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Papirloftet. I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :

Crafts & Me GDT - Summertime

Morning Folks!! WOW, another exciting post for me! All this excitement I'm running on a high at the minute hehe. I was asked to be a guest designer over at Crafts & Me for the month of July now how fab is that?! I just looovvveeee their images! As the theme this week is "Summertime" I chose to work with this beauty.As the image is so gorgeous and speaks for itself I decided to go with a relatively plain card and just jazzed it up a little with a doohickey swirl, ribbon and pearls.

Here is a close up which I've coloured in with my Copics and added teeny tiny pearls to her necklace. These little pearls were a gift yet again from my darling friend Paola, thanks girlfriend! Elphine House Australia DT - BRAND NEW CHALLENGE BLOG - "Lace it up"

Good Evening or should I say good morning as it is midnight here in the UK. I realise a lot of you will be in dream land already but you'll get to see this in the morning. Another very exciting post I'm sharing with all of you today as it's our very first challenge over at Elphine House Australia woohoooo!!! All us dt gals have been soooo excited for the launch and the best part is that you can join in the fun with us as long as you use an Elisabeth Bell image. Sure you'll all agree with just how fab Elisabeth's artwork is. We will have a new challenge for you every other Wednesday 9h00 Australia time/Tuesday midnight here in the UK. The gorgeous stamp I have used is called "Flowers for you" drawn by none other than the uber talented Elisabeth herself. Our challenge this fortnight is LACE IT UP so I've used lace from Wild Orchid Crafts together with a lace doily from Joanna Sheen.

I have used my copics to colour my image and the beautiful dps are once again from my darling friend Paola. All flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Karens Doodles DT - Summer Fun

Happy Monday morning all my fellow bloggers! Here's to another fabby week. This morning sees the start of a brand new challenge over at Karens Doodles and this week we would love to see some "Summer Fun" cards. The weather here in the UK has been just glorious for a change hehe so the theme is so fitting! The image I have used is called "Little Girl" and you can find her here. Isn't she a sweetheart? I think Karen is just such a talented artist. Not quite sure what dp I have used as I've had it for yonks.

Simply Magnolia DT - Happy Birthday

Morning All!!! Unusual for me to be posting on a Saturday but here I am and very excited too as this is my very first dt card for the fabby Simply Magnolia Challenge! Our challenge this time is a nice easy one for you all and is "Happy Birthday" so that actually leaves it wide open. I eventually got Tilda's car and couldn't wait to ink it up! Isn't it just fab? I made this card last Saturday and then when the Magnolia Down Under challenge went live I saw that they had a sketch exactly the same as I've done and got all excited but sadly there challenge closes before I post this, oh well so sad too bad (sob).

All the dps I have used are Magnolia and are distressed. I made the banner with some of the dp and a piece of twine. The sentiment is by LOTV. The flower is a doohickey die and the ribbon is from my stash. Again as usual my image has been coloured in with Copics. I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :

Morning Folks!! Woohoooo Friday again and time for another challenge over at Just Magnolia. This week the lovely Jane has given us a fabby sketch to work with, thanks Hun! I decided to go with an easel card forgetting again just how horrible they are to photograph hehe!

Crafters Companion DT - Popcorn Pals sneak peek

Morning!!! Here I am, as promised, with another sneak peek and guess what?? Only one more sleep until you can get your hands on this gorgeous new release woohooo!!!! These images are off one of the stamp plates and I've coloured it in with my Copics.

The sentiment is also from the stamp plate and all the backing papers off the cd.

The punched border is a MS punch around the page which I've used on coredinations cardstock (luv this cardstock). The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Crafters Companion DT - New release : Popcorn Pals

Afternoon All! As promised I'm back with another quick sneak peek for you. I can't stress enough just how gorgeous this new release is, the images are adorable and the backing papers just stunning!! My card today is decoupage printed off the cd as is the backing paper. To be honest, I'm not really a decoupage fan but I've so enjoyed making these cards!

Crafters Companion DT - EXCITING NEW LAUNCH : POPCORN PALS

Good Afternoon Folks!! I'm so excited to be writing this post as the marvellous Crafters Companion have done it again!! They are launching a brand new double cd rom and four stamp plates on Friday called "Popcorn Pals". I have had so much fun with the stamps and cd so you'll be seeing a lot more of these cards for a looonnnggg time to come. The cds are jam packed with all the gorgeous things you've come to expect from Crafters Companion and more, the backing papers are stunning!! The launch will be online at Crafters Companion before they launch on tv so you'll wanna make a note in your diary for Friday. The image I have used is three different stamps off the same plate and the backing papers are off the cd and matted onto coredinations cardstock.

How sweet are these little friends of Popcorns? I gotta say I'm in luv with this little ragdoll! As always I have coloured my image in with Copics.

Karens Doodles DT - Use more than one image + DT Call

Morning Peeps!! Hope you all had a good weekend, don't they just go by too fast? Mine was great until I broke my toe yesterday afternoon hehe. Who would have thought such a small part of your body could hurt so badly? Anyhooo enough about me and onto todays card which is for Karens Doodles and this week we want to see more than one image on your creation. Also just a quick reminder that you still have time to enter our design team call and be part of a fab team with gorgeous images!! Get your thinking caps on and enter. I decided to go with Butterfly Girl and Butterfly Boy, thought they worked quite well together. My backing papers are a freebie from a magazine and now I can't remember which one and I've matted them onto coredinations cardstock. The swirl and butterfly are Magnolia doohickey dies and the flowers are punched and I've glued little pearls into the centre that I got from my darling friend Paola.

My image has been coloured in with Copics and I added some stickles to Butterfly Girl's top and hat as well as the butterflies. I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :

Crafters Companion DT - One for the boys

Afternoon Folks! Hope your Friday's been good so far. Woohooo, it's weekend, my favourite time of the week hehe. This card is for our new challenge theme over at Crafters Companion this month and this time it's "ONE FOR THE BOYS". Not my favourite style of card to make as I just luv my flowers, lace, ribbons and glitter too much that I find boy's card quite boring (shhh don't tell anyone). Must admit though, I do luv Popcorn the Bear! The image that I've used is a stamp and all the backing papers are printed off the Platinum Collection cd and I've matted onto coredinations cardstock. The raffia ribbon is from my stash as are the pearls and the little wooden star (one of Novembers purchases at NEC).
