I found this dp laying at the bottom of my stash so I couldn't tell ya where I got it from but I just know that I've had it forever, I think it's Papermania but can't be too sure.
I found this dp laying at the bottom of my stash so I couldn't tell ya where I got it from but I just know that I've had it forever, I think it's Papermania but can't be too sure.
I decided to use a combination of dps, namely Magnolia and SWALK as well as co-ordinations cardstock and a doily from my stash. I've inked all around the edges of the doily and the mat of my image with Spun sugar di's by Tim Holtz. My image has been coloured in with Copics as always. The flowers are a combination of Wild Orchid Crafts and Hobbycraft and the lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts too. The swirl is a doohickey die and the pearls from my stash. I also added teeny tiny little pearls that I got from my darling friend Paola in the centre of the flowers in her hair. Pretty sure that covers everything that I've included on my card. I would like to enter my card into the Simply Sassy GDT call so please hold thumbs for me that I've done ok.
Thanks for stopping by folks and heres wishing you a great week ahead. Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx
Evening All!!!! I am soooooo sorry I clean forgot to post the winner of the two images, namely Love Letters and Love Balloons. So without further adeu the winner is, drum roll ....................
Again I have used one of the brand new release images from LOTV, I think they're just the sweetest little images ever! The sentiment comes with the image too, how fab is that?!
I have used my new papers again (rofl), Love letters by Mindy Terasawa. Image coloured in with Copics. The die behind the image is a Nellie's but was sadly just a weeny bit small for the image so I just mounted the image on top and don't think it looks too bad. The flower is an aster daisy from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon, charm and pearls are all from my stash. I'll be entering this card into the following challenges :
As we are being sponsored this week by Lili of the Valley and Some Odd Girl I decided it was a good enough excuse for me to use my brand new LOTV stamp woohooo!! I got inspiration from the lovely Dena who put hers & her hubby's initials on the book and since we need to use numbers this week I decided to write sixteen years on the book as my DH and I will be married that long this year so I've put the card away and will give it to him on our anniversary which is on the 3rd of June. Hope I don't forget that I have a card made by then rofl!
Again I have coloured her in using Copics and stickles. I noticed only once I'd loaded my images that sadly it looks like the stickles has made the ink at the bottom of her dress run??? Not sure why this has happened but it's now spoilt my image and I was out of time to redo it grrrrrrr! I've used the "out of the box" technique with nesties. My dps are Love Letters by Mindy Terasawa and are so scrummy with loads of embossing and glitter. I've used a doohickey die (Tilda lace) for the border as well as for the swirl. The pearls are from my stash.
Ooooo, at last I can reveal which two images Bec has so kindly given me to offer as candy so don't forget to leave your comment for the chance of winning them. They are LOVE LETTERS & LOVE BALLOONS. How cool is that??? I will draw a random winner tomorrow so be sure to check back and see if it is you! I have again coloured her in with Copics. The dps I chose are by Tim Holtz as is the flourish, I eventually bought the die. The blooms are from Wild Orchid Crafts and they're sprayed full with glimmer mist, sadly not showing too well in the pics unless you click on the pic and view it when it's larger. The silver spray with the roses is from Magnolia as is the huge pearl brad.
As mentioned in the previous posts, Bec has kindly donated two mystery images for me to give away to my faithfull followers so don't forget to leave a comment and I will draw a random winner on Wednesday after the final preview.
As always I have coloured in with Copics and decided to try something new as I've seen a lot of ladies in blogland using dots around their images and thought it looks quite nice but to be honest I'm not too happy with the way mine turned out, guess I need more practice hehe. The dps are from my stash, not quite sure where they're from as I had them for yonks. The swirl is a Magnolia doohickey die which I'm sure you've noticed I'm in luv with as I just want to use it on every card rofl!! The blooms are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon and pearls are from my stash. The cute little key charm is from my very special friend Paola, thank you girlfriend!

As with yesterday's card I've used papers printed off the Love Collection cd by Crafters Companion.
Here is a close up of the sweet little girl, don't you just luv the long hair? I have coloured her in with Copics and used Stardust Stickles on the balloons. The pearls are from my stash and the sentiment stamp is a new range by Whimsy Stamps called Love Letter Seals.

The dps are printed from the "Love Collection" cd by Crafters Companion. As usual, she has been coloured in with Copics and I've used glamour dust around the cloud for some sparkle. I embossed the one heart with a butterfly and swirls cuttlebug folder. The ribbon, pearls and heart pins are all from my stash.

They are all so gorgeous that I wouldn't be able to choose a favourite!!I have coloured her in with Copics and cut out with a nestie. The dps I have used are by Memory Box and called gossamer. The were sent to me by the beautiful Elaine (A technophobes blog) when I won her hAngler blog candy, I really luv them thanks Sweetie! The swirl is again my doohickey die, I can't seem to get enough of it, have you noticed hehe?! The blooms are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is one of LOTV's. For my card I decided to use one of my fave stamps and she's from Sugar Nellie's Simply Sassy range called "I give you my heart". She is available from Funky Kits. I have decided to go with a shaped easel card for a change as I was inspired by Dena's gorgeous card, thanks Hun!
Again I have used my Copics to colour her in. My dps are gcd studios "Ella Blue" and I've used DCWV "Latte cardstock" to mat everything onto. I used some glamour dust on the bottom of her dress and glossy accents on the water, sadly doesn't show up in the pic though. The swirls are a Magnolia doohickey die and the blooms are Wild Orchid Crafts and that's it, simples! Decided to go with the CAS look for a change so that all focus can be on the gorgeous image. I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :
Hi all my blogging buddies!! I just couldn't contain myself and needed to share my exciting news with all of you! I have just received my copy of the latest Magnolia Ink Mag and whilst paging through it came across the Contest winners, lo and behold there was my card in third place!!!!! I just can't believe that out of the hundreds of entrants I came in third, what a huge achievement for me woohoooo and so early in the year, I'm absolutely thrilled so thank you Magnolia from the bottom of my heart for choosing my card!!! One of my goals for this year was to be featured in a magazine I just never dreamt it would come to fruition and before the first month is even up.
I decided to use Marlene's fab sketch over at The Sugar Bowl so I'll be entering my card into their challenge. As always I have coloured my image in with Copics. All the dps used are by Tim Holtz and the dies are all Magnolia doohickey. The ribbon and pearls are from my stash and the roses from wild orchid crafts. I will also be entering my card into the following challenges :
I decided to use one of my good old faithful Maggies and combined it with the fab butterfly digi swing that I purchased from Zoe over at Make It Crafty.
I have coloured my image with Copics and smothered it with Stardust stickles for loads of bling which doesn't show up to well in the pic unless you click on it for a larger view. The dp that I have used is one of Magnolias. The gorgeous swirl is a doohickey die as is the flower with the brad in it and down the side I used another doohickey "Tilda Lace". I'm soooo luving these doohickey dies that my DH got me for Christmas. The blooms are all from Wild Orchid Crafs. I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :
I so enjoyed colouring him in, isn't he just a sweetie? As always I used my Copics. All dps are printed onto Centura Pearl papers which have such a beautiful sheen but sadly doesn't show up in the pics.
