Crafty Sentiments DT - New release!!

Good Morning!!  Some exciting news!  Crafty Sentiments have some brand new stamps releasing on the 22nd of August!

I am sharing the first of the 10 stamps and she is called "Off to the ball" isn't she just adorable?!  Just for a change I decided to make an oval shaped card.  The dp I have used is from my stash, the swirl is a doohickey die, the banner is by La-La Land and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Color Me Creative Challenge DT - Anything Goes!

Good morning Luvlies!  Hope you've had a good week.   Today's creation is my DT card for the Color Me Creative Challenge and this fortnight is a fabby "Anything Goes" challenge!

For my card I have used the gorgeous "Angelica in flight" from Make It Crafty.  I decided to go with a round card for a change and used Magnolia dps.  The swirl is a Magnolia doohickey and the flowers are a combination of Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts.

As always I have coloured the image in with my Copics and smothered it with some frantage, I have a slight addiction if you hadn't already noticed hehe.  Colours used are :

Skin - E13, E11, E00, R20

Hair - E57, E55, E53, E51

Dress -  R59, R29, R27

Sash - Y17, Y15, Y21

Wings - C3, C1

Morning Folks!  Apologies for my silence but I've been rather busy behind the scenes.  Today's card is for a new challenge theme over at Crafty Sentiments and this week it's all about punches and dies.

For my card I have used the sweet "Primrose - Butterfly Girl".  The dp and ribbon are from my stash, the doily is an X-Cut die and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I have coloured her in with my Copics and added some faux stitching around the edges.  Colours used are :

The Paper Nest Dolls DT - My first post!!!

Morning my friends!  Today's card is an exciting one for me as it's my very first official creation as dt for The Paper Nest Dolls.

I decided to use one of the newest releases called "Give Thanks Ellie".  Isn't she a cutie?!  The dps I have used are from my stash as is the ribbon.  The blooms are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the corner die is by La-La Land.

The Paper Shelter DT - Punches and dies

Morning Peeps!  Today sees the start of a brand new challenge theme over at The Paper Shelter and this week it's all about punches and dies.

For my card I have used one of the newest digis called "Cute Cave Girl".  Isn't she adorable, but then which of The Paper Shelter's digis aren't??!  The backing paper comes with the image, fab isn't it?  I used a doily nesting die around the image and La-La Land dies for the banner and corner and a MS punch for the leaves.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

As always I have coloured in the image with my Copics.  The colours used are :

CMC Copic Challenge DT - Pink, pink, pink!! Some exciting news too!

Morning Luvlies!  This morning I have a new card to share with you and some very exciting news too!  Don't know how I've been able to contain myself lol.  I was chosen to join the uber talented design team over at CMC Copic Challenge Group woohoo!!

Our theme for this challenge is "Pink, pink, pink" and fortunately it's my absolute favourite colour!  I decided to use an image that I've had coloured up for a while but sadly it's from a company that I do not wish to be associated with anymore and didn't have time to colour up a replacement so hey ho. 

I have coloured the image in using my Copics as follows :

Pinks - R83, R81, RV000

Skin - E13, E11, E00, R83, R81

Water - B37, B34, B32, B000

Hair - E57, E55, E53, E51

The dps I have used are by Magnolia, the corner die is from La-La Land and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I've also added some frantage and gems to her glasses for added bling.

The Paper Shelter DT - Anything but a card!

Good Morning!!  Hope you're all having a lovely week so far.  Today's card is for The Paper Shelter and this week our challenge is "Anything but a card" so I decided to alter a note book for a change.

I have used the gorgeous "Follow me on Fairybook".  As I have been suffering with a blasted headache for the past week it was great that I was able to just print out this pre-coloured image and backing paper.  All I did was add some lace, gems and butterflies from my stash and cut out the pennant with a La La Land die and the swirl with a Magnolia doohickey die.

Here is a close up of the sweetest little fairy to which I've added some frantage and a little distress ink around the edges.

Happy Father's Day

Evening Lovlies!  Hope you've all had a lovely day with your Dad's and were able to spoil them!  Had a lovely day with my hubby and made this card for him.  I decided to try CAS and to be honest don't like this card at all, it's just not me or my usual style but thought I would share it with you anyways.

I used this poor ol' lonely and forgotten stamp from LOTV, isn't he sweet?!  Added faux stitching all around at that's it lol!

The Paper Shelter DT - Flower Power

Morning Folks!  WOW Wednesday comes around way too fast don't ya think?  Today is another challenge over at The Paper Shelter and this week our theme is Flower Power.  How marvellous is that?!  Most of us use flowers on all of our creations so this should be an easy one. 

I decided to make an easel card for a change and got a bit snap happy with the camera lol.  The dp I have used is by Magnolia as are the butterflies and tag which are all doohickey dies.  The ribbon is from my stash and I've added a brad.  The rose ribbon, lace and flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Here is a close up of the coloured image to which I've added some frantage for a bit of texture and bling.

I have used a sentiment stamp from Lili of the Valley of the tag.

For my card I have used the sweet "Annabel - Mermaid's Hair" which was released just recently in May.  The dps and ribbon I have used are from my stash, the lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the corner and swirl are Magnolia doohickey dies.  The frame I have made was using a Diesire die from Crafters Companion and I've included some frantage for bling.

I have coloured my image in with Copics inspired by the fantabulous uber talented Alyce Keegan.  I can only dream of ever being able to colour in like her but we can dream, can't we?!  I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :
