Cuddly Buddly DT

Good Afternoon lovely people!  I have another card to share with you today and this one is for Cuddly Buddly.
The sweet image I have used is by Kim and she is called "Hello my friends".   The backing papers are also by Kim and called "Spring Papers".  I have backed them all onto coredinations cardstock and used a Martha Steward butterfly border punch down the one side and the Magnolia doohickey swirl down the other.  The ribbon is from my stash and the flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
As usual I have coloured the image in with my trusted Copics and added some stickles stardust.  Thanks for stopping by yet again today.  Hope it's been a good one.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxxx

For the love of Mo!!

Morning Luvlies!!  The weather was a bit mizzy yesterday so I grabbed the opportunity to to colour in this sweet image from Mo Manning called "Justin's Ice Cream".  Isn't he just adorable?!
The dps I decided to use are from Nitwits and I've matted them onto some kraft cardstock.  The sentiment is from LOTV and the star button from my stash.
As always I have coloured my image in with Copics and added a little glossy accents to the doggy's nose.  I will be entering this card into Mo's Digi Challenge as this week their theme is "In the dog house".  Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy your week!  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

Another card for fun!!

Morning again Folks!!  As promised here is the card I made yesterday just for fun!

I used one of my all time favourite images by Mo Manning called Ragged Romeo.  Aren't they a sweet little pair?!  The dps I have used are Pion designs and I decided to distress all the edges.  The sentiment is one from my stash and fits in so perfectly with Mo's challenge which is "Hugs & Kisses" so I'll be entering my card into the challenge.  The ribbon is also from my stash and the flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.
As always I have coloured my image in with my trusted Copics.  I will be entering my card into the following challenges :
Allsorts - Distressing
Divas by design - Anything goes
Stampalot Challenge - What's your crafty passion
Thanks for stopping by yet again.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxxx

My Caking Adventures!!

Morning Luvlies!!  Just a very quick post from me this morning to share with you my latest commissioned cake which was delivered on Friday evening.
It was with much difficulty that I made this cake so plain and simple but the brief was that they just wanted their beloved greyhound on the cake!
Everything on the cake is edible.  The greyhound was made with white sugarpaste and then sprayed using my fabby airgun and the lettering was all cut from sugarpaste with my Cricut Cake machine.
Thanks for stopping by!  I do hope you're enjoying the summer holidays if you're here in the UK.  Will be back a little later with a card.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

The Paper Shelter DT - Anything goes & a DT Call!!

Morning Luvlies!!!!  Woohoo, it's Wednesday and nearly time for the summer holidays!   Let's just hope the weather follows suit hehe.  Well today is time for a brand new challenge over at The Paper Shelter and this week we have the fabulous theme of "Anything Goes".

For my card I have used the gorgeous "Learning is fun".  I have been dying to colour her up since she was released a little while back and todays challenge gave me the perfect opportunity!  The backing paper is one that comes with her.  I have popped her up on some 3d glue gel for added dimension on my card.  The puzzle piece is one I bought last year from the NEC and the butterfly is from my stash.
Just decided to go for the clean and simple look as I thought the image and backing papers speak for themselves.  As always I have coloured her in with my Copics.  Hope you'll find the time to join in with the fun this week over at The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog and don't forget the dt call is still running so you can still enter.  Thanks for stopping by and do enjoy the rest of the week.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

Just for fun - Mo Manning!!

Good Afternoon Folks!  Hope you've all had a lovely weekend.  Fortunately it was mostly dry here but we're back to the good ole grey skys and rain today grrrr.  I decided to have a play last night and created this card.

I so luv all Mo's images and it's always a difficult choice of which one to colour first hehe.  This week over at their challenge blog the theme is "Dancing and Singing" so I thought this little fairy would fit into that category as she has her ballet shoes on and the expression on her face looks as though she could be singing.
The backing papers I have used are digis from Cuddly Buddly backed onto coredinations cardstock.  The ribbon and pearls are from my stash and the lace and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  As always I have coloured her in using my Copics.  I added some spray & sparkle from Crafters Companion onto her wings and the bottom of her dress but it's not showing up too great in the pic which is sad cause it's so lovely and sparkly irl.  I'll also be entering my card into the Joanna Sheen Challenge as their theme is "Circles".  Thanks for stopping by.  I do hope you enjoy the rest of your week.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

Cuddly Buddly DT - Written in the stars!

Morning Folks!!  Eventually I have another card to share with you!  This one's for Cuddly Buddly and I've used another gorgeous digi by Karen Middleton called "Love Angel".

The backing papers I have used are called "Enchanted Wishes" and the sentiment comes from an A4 sheet of sentiments with the same name which is available to purchase here.  I used some holographic cardstock which I've had in my stash forever and a MS border punch for the hearts.  The pearls are from my stash and the gorgeous flowers are from Pop's candy that I won a few weeks back.
As always the image has been coloured in with my trusted Copics and I've used a gel pen for a few accents. I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :
Creative Inspirations - Bingo (pearls, flowers, blue)

The Paper Shelter DT - Flower Power

Morning Folks!  Wonder if we're ever gonna have a summer or even see the sun again with all this rain!  It's getting a bit depressing don't you think?  Anyway, onto a happier note and today's card is for the fabby Paper Shelter and this week we just wanna see flowers now what could be easier hehe?!
For my card I've used a brand new image called "Mucha influence - Summer", isn't she just gorgeous?  The dp I have used is by Kaiser Craft and I've matted it onto coredinations cardstock.  The butterfly and swirl are both Magnolia Doohickey dies, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from my stash.
As always I have coloured the image in with my Copics and used some stardust stickles in the centre of the flowers on her head.  The butterfly die I have sprayed with Crafters Companion's spray & sparkle but sadly it's not showing up in the pic.
Hope you'll be able to join in the fun with us this week over at The Paper Shelter.  Thanks for stopping by, lotsa luv, hugs xxxx

Hubby's Birthday Cake!

Evening my lovely blogging buddies!  Just a quick post from me as I'm off to bed, need to have an earlies for a change!  Wanted to share with you what kept me busy today, my Hubby's Birthday cake.

Wasn't quite sure what to make for him and the kids suggested I make a man on the couch watching telly lol.  Never had time to do the telly but at least got him on the couch hehe.

Not too happy with the final outcome but hey ho I cut it a bit fine and don't have time to try something else but so we learn!  Must say I had great fun playing though and that's all that counts and like they say it's the thought that counts.  Hope he'll like it but at least if he doesn't like the look of it I know he'll luv the taste cause I used my chocolate cake recipe which he loves.  Thanks for stopping by and I really would appreciate any constructive criticism.  Have a good evening one and all.  Lotsa luv, hugs xxxx
