The Secret Crafter DT - Hot Wheels

Morning All!
Woohoo, the weekend is upon us yet again!! Today we have a brand new challenge for you over at The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge Blog. The theme this week was chosen by the lovely Mel and it is "Hot Wheels". I have chosen this gorgeous little chap from Lili of the Valley. How sweet is he with his little doggy on the back?!

I have stamped my image with Momento ink and coloured it in using Promarkers which are available at a fabby price of only £1.60 at the Secret Crafter Store. They have such a wide variety of crafting goodies at a really reasonable price. Please do have a squizz for yourself. My dps are DCWV, glitter stack. The star with the sentiment on was cut out from a template and the string and buttons are from my stash.

Totally Papercrafts DT- Going to the movies

Happy Friday Everyone!!
Woohoo!!!! The weekend is upon us! Let's hope the weather's good to us. Hope you all have some great things planned. Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at Totally Papercrafts and our Lols has chosen the theme of going to the movies so I'd luv to see what you come up with. Must be honest, this one really did my head in, I kept hitting a blank hehe. Then I remembered my new SWALK stamps and bingo this little one just screamed "Pretty Woman" to me. I was so excited to have a play with her, isn't she devine?

As always I've coloured her in with Promarkers. The taps I coloured with a silver glitter gel pen and have put glossy accents on the rubber ducky and the bows in her hair. The dps used are from the CD that came with the stamps and boy what a variety, so difficult to just choose a couple. Sadly the pics make the card look a bit dull but irl the colours are gorgeous. Don' t you just hate that pastel colours don't show up as well in the pics? The flowers are wild orchid crafts and the pearls are from hobbycraft.
I'm going to enter my card into the Papertake Weekly Challenge as I followed their fab sketch and Simon Says Challenge as they are "going dotty". Charisma Cardz DT - Something with a tail

Hey Everyone!!
WOW, I can't keep up anymore!! Where does the time go? It's Thursday again and that means a brand new challenge over at Charisma Cardz. We have two sponsors this week, how fab is that?! Digi Stamp Boutique and Bunny Zoe Crafts. Our theme was chosen by the lovely Vee and she wants to see "something with a tail" which gives you loads of options really. I chose to use this darling little Thomas from Lili of the Valley and I followed their sketch too so I'm gonna be entering this card there. I'll also be entering it into the Simon Says Challenge which is "going dotty". Hope you noticed, cause I've been so excited to share it with you, I received my watermark which I'm now proudly displaying on my work hehe! Look at the sweet little face, isn't he the cutest? As always I have coloured him in with ProMarkers. My dps are all Tim Holtz which I have matted onto some DCWV glitter card. The blooms are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and the flat backed pearls were a gift from my darling friend Paola, thanks sweetie pie!Hope my card has inspired you to want to join in the fun and enter your own. The Creative Cottage release day - Little Monkeys Wild West!

Morning All!!

Not sure if I even shared the exciting news with all of you that I was chosen to join the fabby Design Team over at The Creative Cottage woohoo!!! Today sees the release of a brand new kit which is just so awesome, you'll be spoilt for choice with this one as there are so many elements to play with.

THE SECRET CRAFTER DT - FAIRY TALES

Morning All!!
Hope your weekend has got off to a good start! It's Saturday morning and that means time for a new challenge over at The Secret Crafter. This week our lovely Jane has chosen the theme of Fairy Tales. Don't you think that's a fab theme? Every girls dream. I chose to go with my fairy dust Tilda and printed the backing papers off a Debbi Moore cd that I've had forever.

I have coloured her in with ProMarkers and used glamour dust on the trims of her clothing as well as on every dot of the dust she is blowing, wish you could see it irl as it is stunningly sparkly. Both the ProMarkers and the glamour dust can be purchased from The Secret Crafter Store. I have stamped all around Tilda with a stamp I purchased from Butterfly kisses at Doncaster last weekend and then used Mica Powders over it, the shine is incredible. The flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the lace is from my stash, bought a while ago from Dunelm.

TOTALLY PAPERCRAFTS DT - FEELING FRUITY

Good Morning Everybody!!

Happy Friday woohoo!!! Roll on weekend. It's time for a new challenge over at Totally Papercrafts and this week our theme is "Feeling Fruity". We are sponsored by SU so don't miss out on the opportunity to be a winner! I decided to use this sweet Tilda who is holding an apple and one of my dps has fruit on it too. Be sure to hop on over to see the wonderful inspiration the rest of our fab dt have created for you. I have used my Promarkers to colour her in, stickles on the trims of her dress and glossy accents on the apple. Everything is really shiny and sparkly irl but sadly we have really poor light today, mostly overcast, so it's not showing up too well. The roses, as usual. are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves and butterfly are brand new dies from Little Claire Designs. They are brilliant and so easy to work with. Sure you'll be seeing these quite often. I just had to show you a close up of this butterfly, isn't it just gorgeous? The nice thing is that it cuts out three seperate pieces so you could use different papers. It's just so versatile. You can purchase it here. They have a vast array of dies at very reasonable prices and the postage is only £1.

CHARISMA CARDZ DT - ANYTHING BUT SQUARE

Morning All!

Where does the time go?? Can you believe it's Thursday again and that means time for a brand new challenge over at Charisma Cardz and this week we would like to see anything but square. We have a fab prize up for grabs from a brand new sponsor who are Whimsy Stamps and they're offering a $15 voucher to the lucky winner. I decided to go 'round' with my card and I've used an image designed by Meljen which is available from the Whimsy store, isn't she sweet? As always, I have coloured my image with Promarkers and an overload of stickles on her wand and all the "dust" around her. The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbons are from my stash.

I'm not too happy with the outcome of this card but hey ho it's done. My mojo seems to have left the country hehe. Wish it would come back already as I really need it. Magnolia Challenges

Good Afternoon all!!
Hope you've all had a wonderful weekend. I have eventually been able to make a card using my much neglected Magnolia stamps. I was starting to have serious withdrawal symptoms hehe, I so luv these little darlings and it's been a while since I've used one. I have followed the sketch over at Just Magnolia so I'll be entering my card there and Magnolia Down Under want to see a season themed card so I'll enter there too. My season would be summer as it's my favourite time of the year when the garden looks gorgeous and all the flowers are in full bloom, therefore I chose this Fairytale White Rose paper.

As usual I have coloured her in with ProMarkers. I used some glamour dust on her wings and the trim of her dress, then I used glossy accents on the bunch of flowers she is holding and her shoes. The sentiment stamp is from Cuddly Buddly and I mounted it on foam pads to make it pop out.

ONE STITCH AT A TIME CHALLENGE 22 DT - DIGI MADNESS

Good Afternoon!!

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend so far. Just wanted to share with you all that I had such a lovely day yesterday, I went to the Craft Fair in Doncaster and met so many people that I've come to know in Blogland. It was really great to see them in person!! Today's card is my dt card for OSAAT and the theme this week is "Digi Madness", we would love to see you use anything or everything digi. We are sponsored this week by Craftbrulee who have a great store with digis, rubber stamps, lace trims, lace flowers, paper flowers, etc so don't miss out, get your entries in!
For my card I have used digi papers from Toucan Scraps, they really do have a lovely array of papers and the quality is fab! The image is a LOTV stamp and I've coloured him in, as always, with my ProMarkers. Isn't he the sweetest little kid with that huge present hehe?!!

SECRET CRAFTER SATURDAY CHALLENGE DT - SUMMER HOLIDAYS

Morning All!!

Thanks for stopping by yet again. Today is a fab new challenge for you over at The Secret Crafter. This week Helen has chosen the theme of Summer Holidays so that gives you loads to choose from and is open to your own interpretation. I chose to use this gorgeous little girl called "Lacie with ice cream" which is one of Mo's images, as to me summer holidays is nice hot weather, lazing around by the pool and cooling off with an ice cream lol! I have coloured her in with my Promarkers and used glossy accents on her glasses, both of which are available at the Secret Crafter Store. My dps are My Mind's Eye, summer papers which were a freebie with the Cardmaking & Papercrafts magazine this month. I have matted and layered them onto co-ordinations cardstock and DCWV cardstock, glitter stack. The beautiful organza ribbon and blooms come from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I am soooo in luv with this little girl hehe, look how sweet her little face is. She reminds me so of my gorgeous niece who is sadly so far away from me, living in Australia but I've decided I'm gonna post this off to her on Monday as it's her birthday at the end of the month.

TOTALLY PAPERCRAFTS DT - RECIPE WEEK

Morning all!!! Sorry I'm late posting this morning, with all the excitement of doing the post for the challenge blog I clean forgot to do my own hehe! Must come with the date of birth lol. I feel like a train wreck this morning, only got into bed at 5am and then had to be up at 7 to get the boys ready for school. Anyway enough of that! Today is Friday wooohooooo and we have a brand new challenge for you over at Totally Papercrafts. I chose a theme this week which should make it any easy one for you : 1 x Image, 1 x Ribbon, 2 x Papers and 3 x Embellies. Hope you'll enjoy playing along with us. We are sponsored this week by Soft Pencil who are offering the winner a $10 voucher to spend in their store. I have used one of their images on my card, isn't she sweet?! My dp's are all DCWV, ribbon and pearls from my stash and the flowers are a mixture of Wild Orchid Crafts and Hobbycraft. I have coloured my image in with ProMarkers, used stickles on the butterflies wings and the flower and glittered the butterfly trail. I used some self adhesive pearls from my stash to put in the centre of the flowers in her hair.

CHARISMA CARDZ DT - PINK WEEK

Morning all my faithful followers!! Hope you've had a good week so far. Well it's Thursday already, can you believe it? Another brand new challenge for you over at Charisma Cardz and this week Carly has chosen PINK woohooooo!!! I think most of you will agree this is one of our favourite colours so it's an easy peasy one lol! We have not one sponsor but two this week, howz that?!! I have used one of the sweet little images from Pink Cat Studio. My dps are a combination of Dovecraft and co-ordinations. Just for a change I used a Petaloo flower which is not too clear on the pic but it is a combination of fabric and organza, really pretty but I must be honest I really missed using my Wild Orchid Crafts flowers hehe! Here is a close up of the sweet image which I have coloured in with Promarkers. I'll be entering this card into the Allsorts Challenge - July love and One Stop Craft Challenge - Monochromatic.

Whiff of Joy Challenge #82

Evening All!! Hope you've all had a brilliant weekend, I know mine was great! We spent most of it in the garden, re-did our whole front garden got new plants and now it looks like a whole new house hehe, luv it! In between all that I found some time to sneak away to my craft room and make this card which I am entering into the Whiff Of Joy Challenge. I thoroughly enjoyed following their sketch which I'm sure I'll use again. I've used the gorgeous Dancing Willow and coloured her in with promarkers, used glitter on her bag, stickles on her necklace and glossy accents on her shoes. The lush dps are Tim Holtz and I distressed the edges and inked them with brushed corduroy. The flowers are from the one and only Wild Orchid Crafts and the pearls are from hobbycraft. Not too sure about this one but hey ho it's done.

THE SECRET CRAFTER DT - APERTURE CARD

Morning Everybody!! Told ya I'd be back lol! My exciting news is that I was asked to join the fabby design team over at the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge woohooo!!! Well today is my first challenge card with them and the theme was chosen by the lovely Cathy who wants to see Aperture cards. Must be honest, this is my first attempt at one of these and it didn't turn out too bad. Please do come on over and join in the fun with us. Not sure if you're aware but they also have a wonderful shop with so much variety. They supply everything from adhesives to stickles to flat backed gems, stickles, nesties, o gosh too much to mention in one post so why not go check it out for yourself here For my card I just couldn't resist using my favourite little Tilda and I've given her a stickles overload on her wings and the trims of her dress. I have also used flat backed pearls on each corner of the card. She has been coloured in with Promarkers, which by the way are also available at the Secret Crafter Store at a fabby price of just £1.60 at the moment. The gorgeous dps I've used are from the lovely Penni whose blog candy I won a couple of weeks back, so thank you Penni, I luv them.

WOW, can you believe that Friday is upon us again, where does the time go? Today is a brand new challenge over at Totally Papercrafts and the theme, as chosen by the lovely Joanne, is swirls & pearls, how devine is that? I have used one of their images on my card, how cute is this little girl all dressed up in her Mommy's clothes? My image has been coloured in with Promarkers and I have used flat backed pearls for her necklace and earings, glossy accents on the flower on her hat and the swirl I made using a bassill in stitch template and self adhesive stones. My dps are from Kanban which I bought off QVC ages ago and actually had forgotten about, oopsie hehe! Finally the ribbon is from my stash.

CHARSIMA CARDZ DT - WATCH THE BIRDIE

Good Morning All!!

I have some very exciting news to share with you all this morning! The lovely Carly-Ann from Charisma Cardz has asked me to join their DT permanently wooohooooo!!! Can't believe it's Thursday yet again, so that means only one thing ...... a new challenge over at Charisma Cardz.
This week the challenge has been set by Jan and is "Watch the Birdie". We are spoilt this week as we have two sponsors, Soft Pencil Digital Stamps and The Pixie Cottage stamps so do pop on over and join in the fun, don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to be spoilt. Here is my card, I've used the cute little forever friends bear as he has a little robin with him. Just Magnolia Challenge Week 62 - Special Monthly Challenge

Good Evening all my lovely followers! Hope you've had a fab weekend. Mine was a bit hectic, haven't really had much time to myself for my crafty fix hehe! I did, however, manage to squeeze this card into the mix. This week at Just Magnolia they are wanting to see Criss-Cross cards and they even have a tutorial for those of you who have not tried these before. Well I've not ever tried one but I must say I thoroughly enjoyed making this and will definately be using this style again. Thanks Jeanette!! I have taken quite a few pics, hope I don't bore you.

I used the gorgeous Lady Tilda as well as one of the butterflies from the Spring Kit. The other flowers that I have stamped in the background are from a Dawn Bibby set which I bought off QVC. Coloured in with Promarkers. The edges of her dress and the butterfly got a good dose of glitter and the frame around her I used stickles. Ribbon, flowers and pin are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.
