Just Magnolia DT - Sketch

Morning my crafting buddies! I'm back with my second post for the day and it's to share with you my DT card for the Just Magnolia challenge. This week we have a really fab sketch for you to follow so please do come and join us! Once again I have used First Edition Papers called "Sweet Owl" and I just luv this colour combo.

Have coloured my darling Tilda in with copics and used stickles for the bottom of her dress. The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl prize I won and the heart charm is also a blog candy win from Kathrin Kruemel. The flowers are a combination from Magnolia and Wild Orchid.

Totally Papercrafts DT- Sketch

Morning All!! Woohoo, only one more sleep and I'm leaving on a jet plane hehe! Getting excited now to see my Mommy and all my family and friends back home. Will miss you all in blog land though but three weeks goes so fast and before we know it I'll be back. Anyhooo enough of me waffling and onto today's card which is for Totally Papercrafts and this week the lovely Lols chose to use a sketch done by Sue. I just couldn't resist using a Tilda again rofl! I've actually neglected this sweetie so I decided to ink her up. Loved this sketch, thanks Sue! The dps are by First Edition Paper and the pad is called Up, up and away. I'm really loving all the first edition papers as they're just so scrummy and beautifully embossed and glittered.

As always I've coloured in with Copics and used some stickles for a bit of bling. The heart buttons are from my stash as are the pearls. The sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly which sadly I will never be able to use again as my bloomin parrot flew onto my craft desk and ripped it to shreds grrrr!!! The cherry blossoms are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Charisma Cardz DT - Wedding / Anniversary

Morning Folks!! Hope my fellow crafting buddies in the UK are enjoying the lovely warm weather we're having at the moment, fingers crossed it'll stay this way! Well today sees the start of a new challenge theme over at Charisma Cardz and this week the lovely Clare has chosen the theme of "Weddings / Anniversaries". Fortunately for me I have a family wedding at the end of the month and so I made this card just for my special cousins! I have used GCD papers "Ella Blue" which has a gorgeous silver foiling print on but sadly not visible in the pic and then I have used a strip of gorgeous embossed and glittered vellum by Papermania over the one side. The paper doily is from Joanna Sheen and the swirl is a doohickey die.

I decided to leave the bridal couple in white and just added a bit of grey for shading. The bow I made from silver lace which was bought at Dunelms and I've layered some tulle behind it. The huge pearl brad is from Magnolia. The butterflies are also Magnolia stamps which I have drowned in stickles rofl! The blooms are from Papirloftet and Wild Orchid Crafts. Simply Sassy Guest DT Call

Good Afternoon all my crafting friends!! Hope you've all had a good week so far. Well I'm counting sleeps at the moment as I fly back home on Saturday morning to spend time with my family for three weeks. Just thought I would let you all know as there'll be nothing happening on my blog during that time and I didn't want you to think I'd disappeared rofl! The card I am showing you today will be entered into the Simply Sassy's GDT call and I have used the gorgeous "Bad Hare Day". All dps used are Memory Box "Gossamer" papers and I have matted and layered onto coredinations cardstock.

Here is a close up of the sweet image which I've coloured in with my Copics. The swirl and heart border are both Magnolia doohickey dies. The ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment stamp is by LOTV. All the blooms are from the one and only Wild Orchid Crafts. I'll be entering this card into the following challenges :

Crafters Companion DT - Brown & Aqua

WOWZERS, morning for the third time today hehe!!! Here I am again but this time with my challenge card for Crafters Companion. Our challenge this month is the gorgeous colour combo of brown & aqua. Sadly I couldn't find much aqua in my stash so I went with the closest I had rofl! The dps I have used are gcd "Ella Blue", I luv this paper pack and sadly don't use it enough. The sweet image is from the SWALK range and the ribbon and blooms are from my stash, simples!!

Morning again all my crafting buddies!! Woohoooo I'm so excited as I write this post, can you tell? This is one of my dreams come true being on a Magnolia dt so a HUGE thank you to Bev & Jacqui for their faith in me and inviting me to join their fabby team at Just Magnolia. Thanks also to all my teamies over there for their very warm welcome! I have used Tilda with jeans from the new Butterfly collection. The dps are by Tim Holtz, swirl is a doohickey die, ribbon and button from The Ribbon Girl and blooms are a combination from Papirloftet and Wild Orchid. The pearls are from my stash.

Tilda has been coloured in with Copics and I've used a new stamp that I bought at the NEC from LOTV all around the image and then dusted over it with mica powders for a gorgeous sheen. Hope you can see it well enough in the pic cause it really looks great irl. I'll be entering my card into the following challenges :

Totally Papercrafts DT - One for the Boys

Morning Folks!! Thank goodness the weather is getting better again, thought we'd had our summer and we were back in winter over this past week hehe! Well today sees the start of a brand new challenge theme over at Totally Papercrafts and the lovely Vicky has chosen "One for the boys". I've used one of my new hAnglers, isn't he a Sweetie?! The dps are by First Edition called Up & Away, if you click on the pic to get a larger version you'll be able to see just how lush it is and beautifully glittered.

Went for the plain and simple look here as I thought you can't go too crazy with a man's card. The sentiment is also from this hAngler set and all I've used are a few wooden buttons and as always I've coloured in with my Copics.
