The Digi Bells GDT Call

Afternoon All!! Hope you're having a lovely weekend so far! I'm most excited about getting an extra hours sleep tonight as the clocks turn back an hour woohoo!! Just a quick post from me today, after much deliberation I've finally decided to take my chances and enter Elisabeth Bell's digi GDT call as I so luv everyone of her images. Such a tough choice deciding which image to use hehe but I eventually went with "I love you this much". Hope I've made the right decision?!
I coloured the image in with my Copics and the dps used are by DCVW "Pocket full of posies". The flowers and lace are from wild orchid crafts, the swirl is a Marianne die and the leaves a Little Claire die. Pearls are from my stash.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. The nights will be drawing in real early from tomorrow which I'm not really looking forward too but will just make the best of it. Lotsa luv xxxx

Totally Papercrafts DT - Bling it on!!!!

Morning Everybody! Hope you've all had a good week and are ready for the weekend woohoo!! Today is the start of a new challenge over at Totally Papercrafts and this week the theme has been chosen by the lovely Mel and is "Bling it on"! The more bling the better lol, I definately didn't have a problem with this challenge. I've used my brand new Snowy Hug Tilda, isn't she just adorable hugging the snowman?! I've used Papermania dps and irl they are so shiny, they almost have a holographic look about them, sadly it doesn't show up in the pics.
I've used my Copics to colour the image and a snow marker pen on their hats and the trim of Tilda's coat then heat embossed it to make it puff out. For the snow on the top of the broom and on the snowman I used glamour dust and for the snow on the ground I used Twinklets Diamond Dust, see I didn't lie when I said there was no shortage of bling here lol!! The snowflakes are a Marianne Die and again I used the snow marker and heat gun and then added stardust stickles over them. The ribbon and charm are from my stash. I followed the sketch from The Pixie Cottage and their added extra is metal, so my charm falls into that category. Will be entering my card into their challenge. Will also be entering this into the following challenges :
Paper Pretties Challenge - square project
Papertake Weekly - sparkly & bright
Fussy and Fancy - Winter wonderland
Thanks for stopping by. Hope my card has inspired you to want to make something with bling and hop on over to the challenge blog to see the stunning inspiration by our very talented design team. Have a great weekend. Lotsa luv xxxxx

Video Boy for my precious Nephew

Evening All! Hope you were all wrapped up warm today! WOWZER, what a big freeze! Looks like winter has all of a sudden just hit us. Just a quick post this evening to share with you a card that I made for my darling nephew over in Australia. My BIL was with us for the weekend and I already had cards that I sent back with him for my sister and niece but needed to make a special one for my nephew who is an xbox addict lol! Thought this video boy from Mo Manning was just perfect for him.

I thoroughly enjoyed making this card as I so luv Mo's images. Coloured him in with a combo of Copics and ProMarkers again and used the fabby sketch from Papertake Weekly so I'll be entering my card into their challenge.

Here's hoping tomorrow will be a little warmer (fingers crossed). Enjoy what's left of the evening. Lotsa luv xxxxx

I went with a Christmas theme just to get some under the belt hehe.

I have again coloured him in with a combo of Copics and ProMarkers as I don't have enough colours in my Copics stash yet. I've used some stickles on the bow on his hat and flowersoft for the trims mixed with glamour dust for a bit of sparkle. Crafters Companion DT - SWALK sneak peek

Morning again!! As promised here is another sneaky peek from the new SWALK range. I know I've been saying it everyday but I really do luv these sweet little characters and have had a blast creating with them. As with all the other cards, I have used backing papers from the cd rom which are so scrummy! Another nice feature is the colouriser on the cd so you can change the papers to a colour that suits you. I decided to go with another fancy fold card as I seem to just be making square cards all the time lately (but they are my fave hehe). I have yet again coloured the image with a combo of ProMarkers and Copics. I stamped a "fireworks" stamp around the image and brushed some mica powders over it so it's lovely and sparkly irl. Sadly you can't pick it up in the pics.
Here is the close up of the sweethearts. Thanks again for stopping by and don't forget, only one more sleep till the show at 12h00 tomorrow wooohooooo!!!! I'm sooo excited, just like a little girl lol!! Lotsa luv xxxx

Charisma Cardz Challenge DT - Vintage

Morning All! I know I say this every week but where does the time go? We have a brand new challenge for you today over at Charisma and this week we want to see you go vintage. Must be honest, this was a challenge for me as I've not done vintage before eekkk!! Hope I've done ok. I decided to go with a LOTV image which I thought could be transformed into a yesteryear pic. Stamped the image with Hot Cocoa instead of black and minimal colouring, wanted to keep with the browns/neutrals. I used a Magnolia newsprint dp and distressed the edges and then also used distress ink on it.
The lace and flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. Hope you will join us this week with your take on vintage. Please do hop over to the challenge blog for some more inspiration from my fellow teamies. I'll be back a bit later with another sneak peek for the new SWALK range. Thanks for stopping by, until later lotsa luv xxxxx

This week the theme has been chosen by our lovely Joanne and she wants to see more than one fold, so go on try something different like I have eeekkkk!! I got the template off my special friend Paola's blog and must say I was quite impressed with how it turned out, something new and very different for me. Here is the link if you'd like to try it for yourself and see all her gorgeous creations. Thanks girlfriend!!

I have used this gorgeous stamp from Lily of the Valley and coloured her in with Copics then cut out with a Nellie die that I've had for a while, just not used, what am I like lol?! Have also used glamour dust on the fur, the angels wings and around the frame too, can't have too much bling right? The dps I have used were a freebie with one of the magazines and they're from Nitwit, aren't the colours gorgeous for Xmas instead of the traditional red and green.

I have used papers from the Trick or treat paper pack as well as the boo paper pack which can be found here. The image I have used is from Make it Crafty, isn't she gorgeous?! I've coloured her in with a combination of Copics and ProMarkers then cut her out and put foam pads behind her for a bit of dimension.

Totally Papercrafts DT - Buttons & Bows

Morning All!! Can't believe it's Friday again and that means time for a brand new challenge over at Totally Papercrafts. This week we have a lovely theme of buttons and bows, I really enjoyed this one! I decided to use one of my favourite Mo's images called Lacey with ice cream, she's such a joy to colour.
I've used my brand new Copics for this one together with Magnolia papers which I've had for ages and actually forgot about, how awful is that hehe! I've also used an MS punch around the page. Just for a change I've not used any wild orchid crafts flowers but have used lace and ribbon from them. The wooden flower buttons were a purchase from last year's NEC visit. Can't wait for November 5th when I can go back again woohoo, my yearly treat!!! My card fits in with a few challenges so I'll be entering it into the following :

Good Morning!!!
Can you believe it's Thursday again and that means time for a brand new challenge over at Charisma Cardz. This week the theme is "Autumn Colours", so that leaves it wide open for you! I decided to use my hAngler & stAngler which I got a couple of months back and the poor darling has never seen ink! My dps are DCWV, latte stack. I just luv the colours in this paper pack and I thought all the leaves looked like they were falling down, perfect for autumn don't you think?
I have coloured the image in with a combination of Copics and ProMarkers and used stardust stickles on her wings and antennae. The mat I have put her on is a Marianne die that I've had on backorder for weeks and when it arrived yesterday I just had to use it immediately lol!! The flowers are from wild orchid crafts and the ribbon is from my stash. I have followed the sketch from Friday Sketchers so I'll be entering my card there as well as into the following challenges :

Play time!!

Morning all my faithful followers!!

Just thought I would share with you a card that I made yesterday whilst I had a little me time. Strange how whenever I do have a little time on my hands I just luv to play with my Magnolias, they are definately my all time favourite stamps!!

I bought this mushroom house from the fabby Make It Crafty and have been dying to play with it! From the minute I saw it I instantly had a picture of Tilda sitting on the top so that is exactly what I did. I stamped her and then masked her and printed off the digi. Took a while to get all the positioning correct but I enjoyed every minute of my play time lol!!

I have once again used Copics to colour the image in cause I need all the practice I can get! The backing paper I've had for yonks and I think it's one of Kate Knights, but don't hold me to that. The swirl I made using a bassill template and flat backed pearls. I have given her wings a good going over with stardust stickles and have used glamour dust on the trims of her dress. I will be entering my card into the following challenges :
Make It Crafty - Anything goes
Just Magnolia - Special Monthly Challenge - Anything goes
Totally Tilda - Glitter & Sparkle
Flutterby Wednesdays - All winged things
Magical Monday Challenge - Back to nature

Stamp & Create - Pink for breast cancer awareness
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a great week ahead!! Lotsa luv xxxx

Today sees the start of our monthly challenge over at the Crafters Companion blog and Bev has given us such a fabby sketch to work with again, I just luv her sketches, thanks Hun! The added extra is "untraditional christmas". I have used one of the gorgeous SWALK images again.
How sweet and innocent does she look?!! I have coloured her in with a combination of my ProMarkers and Copics and used crystal stickles on the butterflies and hearts around her. My dps are gcd studios - Ella Blue Collection, what a lush pack, I'm luving them at the mo! The roses and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts as usual. Hope you will pop on over to the challenge blog and get some fabby inspiration from my very talented teamies and join in the fun with us. Thanks for stopping by. Here's to a great weekend too and hopefully some sunshine, in the UK, ok possibly not lol!! Lotsa luv xxxx

Totally Papercrafts DT - The Great Outdoors

Morning Folks!! Woohooo it's the weekend and I'm feeling tons better, thank goodness! Today sees the start of a brand new challenge for you over at Totally Papercrafts and our lovely, talented Emma has chosen the theme of "The Great Outdoors". Such a nice theme actually as there is just so much you can do with it! I was so excited that I've eventually got the chance to ink this little sweetie up, so sad that I've not actually used her sooner or more frequently. She's one from the SWALK range by Crafters Companion.

I've used my new Copics again to colour her and am quite pleased with the results! I also used some stardust stickles on the raindrops and puddle under her for some bling. My dps are from the Milton & Co paper pad and the roses and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The pearls are from my darling friend Paola Levi, thanks Doll! Hope you've been able to gather some inspiration from my card. Please do hop over to the challenge blog and see what my very talented teamies have come up with and join in the fun with us. I'll be back a little later this morning with my dt card for Crafters Companion. Thanks for stopping by. Lotsa luv xxxx
