Charisma Cardz DT - Christmas Crafting and Sheena Douglass sneak peek day 2

Morning all my lovely followers!! Hope you've all been having a good week so far! Well today sees a brand new challenge over at Charisma Cardz and boy oh boy did we have a record of a week last week with over six hundred entries, you guys really made it very difficult for me to choose the top 3! This week we would luv to see your Christmas Crafting and I have taken the liberty of incorporating my challenge card with a sneek peak of Sheena Douglass' new release stamps, naughty I know but it is still Christmas Crafting lol!! I used papers from last year's xmas stash so sadly can't remember where they come from.
I've coloured the image in with Copics which I'm now in luurrvvee with hehe! On the mirror and clock behind Santa I have used glossy accents to make them look more real. I followed the fabby sketch over at Sketch Saturday so I'll be entering this card into their challenge. The ribbon is from my stash and the poinsettia's are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. The three smaller ones in the bottom left hand corner I have sprinkled full of Diamond Dust which I learnt from Bev Rochester, thanks Sweetie!
Hope my card has inspired you to want to nip over to the challenge blog to see what my fab teamies have created and enter your own. I'll be back tomorrow with another sneak peek for Sheena as well as my dt card for Totally Papercrafts. Lotsa luv xxxx

Sneak Peek - New stamps by Sheena Douglass

Morning All!!! Just a quick post from me this morning. How fortunate were us gals on the Crafters Companion DT to be asked to make up a few sample cards for Sheena's launch on Create and Craft TV this Saturday. I will be giving you a couple more peeks during the week so keep your eyes peeled! O and by the way this is also my first attempt at using Copics, definately need loads of practice but I think it's now safe to say goodbye to my old ProMarker friends as I just feel they can't even compare with Copics sadly. I followed the sketch over at Friday Sketchers so I'll be entering this card into their challenge. Thanks for stopping by. Lotsa luv xxxx

Think I might just start a trend and give out happy halloween cards. Here is a preview of what the kits look like :

The Creative Cottage DT - Sneak Peek Naughty or Nice?

Morning Again!! As promised here is the sneak peek of another new kit being released on Monday called Naughty or Nice. I must be honest and tell you that I thoroughly enjoyed doing this one, such a gorgeous kit with too much to choose from actually lol!! I used three of the backing papers and decoupaged the Santa who I think is just too sweet. Of course I had to use an overload of glamour dust on him, not sure you can see it too well but irl it is just sooo sparkly.
I have taken a close up of him in the hope that you'll see all the sparkle! I also cut out two parcels from the embellishment sheet and mounted them on foam pads for dimension.
And finally a sideways view for you to see all the dimension and layers on the Santa.
Thought I would include a pic of the kit for you to see just how much is in it and all for just £1.99, how fab is that?! Don't forget to be in the running to win this entire kit today you need to hop on over to the Creative Cottage Blog and leave a comment there. Also a quick reminder to join us on Monday for the blog hop and chance to win all the new release kits and see the website, wooohoooo exciting times ahead. Hope you all have a lovely weekend. I'll be back tomorrow with another sneaky peek. I'll be entering my card into the Colour Create Challenge whose theme is Red, Gold and white/cream as well as into Stamp Something whose theme is Digi Day. Lotsa luv xxxx

Totally Papercrafts DT - Happy Birthday

Morning Everybody!! Can you believe Friday is here already?! Well that means two good things, firstly it's weekend and secondly it's time for a brand new challenge over at Totally Papercrafts and this week the theme has been chosen by moi. I've made it an easy one for all of you and chose Happy Birthday, now how can you resist entering your card?!
We are sponsored this week by Digi Doodle Shop and they really do have lovely images, I have used one and you can't say that this little boy isn't adorable, I think he's just too sweet!
Here is a close up view of the little angel that I have coloured in with ProMarkers. The dp I have used is printed off a Crafters Companion cd rom. I then made some balloons from chipboard and curled ribbon from my stash to hang from the balloons. Not too sure the pic shows just how pretty the ribbon actually looks, shoulda used a darker ribbon but hey ho it's done. The sentiment is from craftwork cards and I just mounted it onto red card. Simple. Thanks for stopping over and don't forget to hop on over to the challenge blog for some gorgeous inspiration from my very talented teamies. I'm entering my card into the following challenges :
Create 4 Fun - Red, White & Blue

Thursday already so that means time for a brand new challenge over at Charisma Cardz and this week we have a sketch for you to follow which I think is great cause then you can choose any image and theme! I actually had another card made up for this challenge but when my new Tilda arrived I just had to ink her up and use her immediately! Don't think I'll ever get tired of Magnolias hehe! My dp is by My Minds Eye, Signature Christmas Glitter Book, such a lush stack - all glittered, can't wait to start making Christmas cards. I just luved this one in particular with all the swirls and the colour which I thought would be perfect for Autumn. The lace and roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the pearls from my stash.

The theme has been chosen by our lovely Shelly who wants to see "Birthday Boy". I couldn't resist using one of my favourite LOTV stamps combined with these versatile papers from the snow much fun kit which will be available to purchase from Monday the 20th. I thought they were just perfect for a boys card. Here is a close up of the little Sweetie which I have coloured in with ProMarkers and cut out with nesties. Charisma Cardz DT - Try something new/different

Morning my sweet stamping friends!
WOW! Post number 2 for the day! Haven't done that in ages. Why are there never enough hours in a day?? I ask myself this question daily lol! Just can't believe how the time flies. It's already almost another week over and today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at Charisma Cardz. This week the theme has been chosen by our design team and we would like to see you try something new or something different to what you normally do. I decided to make a little gift box and mounted my card on top of it. I got the template off a very talented lady's blog and for the life of me I can't seem to find where I put the link grrrrr! Once I do find it, I'll let you all know as I thoroughly enjoyed doing this project and inking up one of my favourite neglected stamps, Tilda. Ooooo, I do miss my Magnolias. Need to find more time as they're being horribly neglected at the moment lol! Can't remember what papers these are either, WOW, I'm totally useless today! They are from my scrap box so sadly no name on it hehe. I used co-ordinations cardstock and embossed it with script thru the cuttlebug. The ribbons and glitter gems are from my stash and the blooms are from wild orchid crafts. Thanks for stopping by and please do check out the blog for some fabby inspiration from the rest of the dt. Go on, I know your dying to try something new too so why not join in with us and stand the chance of winning some fabby prizes. Until tomorrow, lotsa luv xxxx

Today sees the start of a brand new challenge over at Charisma Cardz and this week the theme is "Inspired by a song". I can see you all singing this song for the rest of the day hehe. I have used this darling stamp from the SWALK range at Crafters Companion, I never tire of them, they're just so sweet and such a dream to colour.
