Charisma Cardz Challenge

Happy Saturday and bank holiday weekend everybody wooohoooo!!!! Typical weather again hehe - rain, rain! Fortunately the weather man has said tomorrow and Monday will be nice and sunny (fingers crossed). My card today I am entering into Charisma Cardz Challenge which is "Going round in circles" and I have followed the sketch from Stamp with Fun so I'll be entering my card there too as well as Passion for Promarkers "Anything Goes". The gorgeous image is called Goldielocks by Sugar Nellie and she's the stamp I won from Funky Kits for displaying their candy on my blog. Isn't she just gorgeous?! Here is a close up of her

I have coloured her in with Promarkers and used glossy accents on her shoes. The dp's are all DCWV "Latte stack". The buttons are from my stash and the flowers from the one and only Wild Orchid Crafts. I have used stickles icicle on the flowers and around the image. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by. Just Magnolia Challenge Week 56

Hi all you luvlies! Looks like possibly our summer is on it's way back, fingers crossed lol! Todays card I have made following the sketch by the talented Jane over at Just Magnolia and I've encorporated the colour scheme over at Colour Create Challenge Blog which is soft green and light aqua, so I'll be entering my card there too.

DP's used are all DCWV and i've inked around all the edges, I'm so hooked on their papers it's frightning. The mat behind Tilda I embossed and then chalked with Papermania Shimmer chalk. Tilda I have coloured in with Promarkers. I've added stickles around her dress. Her shoes, the bow on her head and the centre of each flower that she is holding I have coated with glossy accents. The roses and cherry blossom are from Wild Orchid Crafts and they've had the glimmer mist treatment. All the rest is from my stash. Here is a close up of Tilda and the flowers :

EXCITING NEWS AGAIN!!!!!

Hi all!
Just couldn't contain my excitement again lol!! I made the Top 5 at Passion for Promarkers again. As if that isn't enough, I also won one of the new stamps from Tickled Pink Stamps, Down Under. But hold on, I'm not finished hehe .... Sugar Nellie also informed me that I was chosen by Funky Kits to win the whole new set of Mangas. How fab is that! MO'S GDT CALL

Evening All! Hope you're all well and enjoying the heat and sunshine as much as I am, sadly they say from tomorrow it's gonna cool down. Let's just hope not too much. The card I made today is to enter into Mo's GDT Call and whilst I was making it I realised that it would fit in with the theme over at Passion for Promarkers so I'm gonna enter it in there too. Mo's call was to follow a sketch and I have used the gorgeous Baby Fairy Flora and coloured her with Promarkers and used loads of stickles on the bottom of her dress, her wings and on the bees too. Here is a close up, isn't she just the sweetest? I think she has the most angelic little face.

My DP's are from my stash which I've had for quite a while so unfortunately I can't tell you where they're from. I have mounted them onto DCVW glitter card. The raffia lace is also from my stash as are the pearls. The flowers and chandeliers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I have sprayed them with glimmer mist. Hope you can see the sparkle on them.

WOJ DT Call

Good Afternoon all you special people!!! Hope you're enjoying the fantastic weather we're having, sunshine wooohooooo!!!!
The card I have made is to enter into the Whiff of Joy DT Call. I'm taking a flyer here thinking that whilst my luck is in I'll enter this challenge as I do love their stamps and would genuinely love to belong to a design team and who better than them?! I must be honest I found this to be quite a bit of a challenge as the colours are not what I would normally use but they have specified that we use orange, red and one other colour. Anybody that knows me will know that I have millions of papers but do you think I could find an orange and red to go together, nope! This was the best I could do and I ended up enjoying myself hehe. Love the image, he was a dream to colour, was little "Sick Henry". I've coloured him using Promarkers.

The sentiment I used is a stamp from Personal Impressions and the roses are from the one and only Wild Orchid Crafts. The pearls were a gift from a very special friend back home, she posted me a whole stack, thank you Darling!! Finally here is a close up of Henry.

Just Cute Bears Challenge

Morning all you gorgeous people!!! As you can surely tell from my previous post, I am on a high again this morning having just seen that I made the top 5 at Magnolia Down Under, woohooooo!!!!!!!! WOWZER, two top 5's in one week, I'm truly honoured and feel that eventually all my hard work is paying off and being noticed, thank you sooooooo much to all involved! Right, enough of that now - onto todays card which I would like to enter into the Just Cute Bears Challenge which I have never taken part of before. I just fell in luv with this little Milton Bear when a very kind friend gave me a few stamped images of him and I then immediately went and bought him, isn't he just soooo sweet with his own teddy hehe?! The DP's are also Milton & Co from Wild Rose Studios. The formula to follow was 3 brads, 2 papers and 1 ribbon. Hope this fits the bill. Here is a close up of the little guy :

I have coloured him in using Promarkers, cut the mat out with a nestie and then used distress ink around the edges with stickles. The ribbons are from my stash as is the charm. The brads used are Papermania glitter brads and the gorgeous flowers are from wild orchid crafts and hobbycraft. Here is a close up of them :

Magnolia Challenges

Hi there once again lol! Second post in one day, damn I'm getting good in my old age hehe! Made this card for the Magnolia Down Under Challenge which was to use black & white/cream + one other colour. I then realised that it would also work for the Just Magnolia Challenge which was "One for the girls". My card will also work for the Create 4 fun challenge as I have followed their sketch as well as for A spoon full of sugar and Sir Stampalot. Not bad going for one card, huh?!

Close up of image and flowers. Hoping you can see the chalked edges and the stickles I've used. DP's are craftshouse "Allsorts" and DCWV "glitter cardstock". I punched the butterflies out with an X Cut punch from the same glitter cardstock and embellished them with pearls which I purchased from the hobby house. The flowers are once again from Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is a stamp from Lily of the Valley. Thanks for popping by again folks. Lotsa luv xxx

WOJ Challenge #78

Good Afternoon All!! Hope you all had a lovely weekend, looks like our Spring is eventually back (shhh, don't wanna say that too loud in case I spook it hehe). Weather has really been lovely. With all the excitement of the good weather I almost forgot to post my card for the WOJ Challenge, which would have been a shame cause I really enjoyed following this sketch and have been itching to ink this stamp up!

I have coloured her in using Promarkers. The papers are Wild Rose Studio "Milton & Co". The swirl I made using self adhesive pearls which I purchased from the hobby house and a bassill template, thanks to the lovely tutorial given by Bev Rochester. The lace is from my stash and the gorgeous flowers are from none other than Wild Orchid Crafts.

One for the Boys!

Hiya All!! Hope you've all had a lovely Saturday in the sun, looks like our Spring is back woohoo (fingers crossed). Just thought I would share this card with you which I made this morning for my son's friends birthday. Hope it's ok cause I just hate doing male cards but this Manga boy is just too gorgeous and I actually couldn't wait for the opportunity to ink him up and luckily it's arrived sooner rather than later lol!

Here is a close up of the sweetie which I coloured in with Promarkers. The lush DP's are "Rock Star" by DCWV, so glad I bought this pack as they are perfect for male cards and are all foiled. I then used a nestie to cut out the shape of the mat for my image and another die to cut out the stars. Easy peasy hehe. Ooooo just thought I would share with you all as well that eventually my Spring Kit from Magnolia arrived this morning so I'm dying to get my mits in there. Will try and post something soon. PFP Challenge - Strawberries & Cream

Morning all you Lovlies!!! Just a quick post from me this morning before I rush out the door. First of all I would like to say a very warm Thank You to all of you for your Birthday wishes, it meant the world to me!! Now onto my card which I will be entering into the Passion for Promarkers Challenge, this week the theme is Strawberries & Cream and I have used the lush DCWV papers from the Nana's Nursery Collection. I have coloured the image in with Promarkers and put glossy accents on her shoes and the ribbons in her hair. I then used papermania glitter chalks around the edges. The sentiment was a computer generated one. Ribbon is from my stash as well as the pearls. The charm is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts and I must just let you all know how brilliant their service is - I placed my order around 11am on Monday and my goodies arrived on Tuesday morning, howz that??!! The gorgeous flowers are of course from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Just Magnolia Challenge - Week 54 "It takes two"

Hiya all my dear buddies!! Today I'm on a bit of a high as it's my Birthday and my Darling Hubby surprised me by taking a days leave and spoiling me rotten as always!! I've made this card to enter into the challenge. I've stamped Tilda then masked her and stamped the fence over her. Must say I quite enjoyed this technique, first try and definately won't be my last lol! Thought it was going to be difficult but it was actually simple.

I've used Magnolia papers, the ribbon/lacey thing is from Dunelm (bought it yonks ago), the gorgeous roses are from the one and only Wild Orchid Crafts and the image has been coloured in using Promarkers. I then got a bit excited with the can of glitter spray which is from Crafters Companion hehe and the pearl brads are from the hobby house.

Colour Create Challenge

Morning all my lovely crafting buddies!! Hope you had a super duper weekend and for those of you who celebrated Mother's Day yesterday hope you were spoilt rotten hehe!! Today I am entering into a new challenge over at Colour Create and guess what they're also having a DT call so I'm gonna take my chances there too, fingers crossed lol!!


Must say I actually enjoyed this challenge and will definately be entering every one that they host! Loved the fact that they choose the colours and you have to scrummage around finding all your papers hehe! Don't you think this little angel has the sweetest face? I felt quite special last night when I showed my boys the card and my middle son asked me if that was me when I was little as he said she looks like me (how I wish lol)! Aren't they just priceless, our children?!
All the DP's are from my stash and are a mixture of DCWV and Cloud 9 Designs. The sentiment stamp is from Cuddly Buddly and I used Tim Holtz distress ink, brushed corduroy, to fit in with the colour scheme (brown). The raffia lace is also from my stash (purchased a while back from Hobbycraft) and the roses are from the one and only Wild Orchid Crafts. The angel I coloured in using promarkers, stickles on her wings and glossy accents on the hearts in her hair (sadly none of it shows up too well in the pics). Ronnie - Commissioned Male Card

Hi all my darling buddies!! First of all thank you to all of you for wishing me well, I'm glad to say that I'm back in action and ready to take on a few challenges hehe!! Emma, this one's for you - thank you for the lovely digi image of Ronnie, I thoroughly enjoyed colouring him in and making this card! Really feels strange saying that cause I actually hate making cards for men, they're always so difficult cause you can't use all your bling and pretty flowers so their cards, to me, are quite boring lol!

Just Magnolia Challenge - Week 53

Hiya All!! Just a very quick post from me tonight as I'm really feeling so ill so think I'm off to bed after this. I almost forgot to post my card that I made for the Just Magnolia Challenge. The challenge was to follow a sketch and I thoroughly enjoyed making this card with my brand new little Tilda. Don't you think she's just too gorgeous?

My very first commissioned card for a baby girl

Hiya!! Told you I'd be back soon hehe! Can't actually believe my luck - to be asked to make a card and then a few more and a few more. How nice, I'm really chuffed that my passion for crafting is now growing into something more wooohooooo. Who says dreams don't come true?!! Here's a close up of the image, how cute is it? I purchased the digi last night from Pink Gem Designs when the call came through requesting a card for a new baby girl. Can you believe I didn't have one stamp for a new baby and I promise you I have hundreds of stamps, everything but new baby!!!

Passion for Promarkers Challenge

Hi all my blogging buddies I'm back!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I've been so quite this week but things have been a bit hectic on the home front lol. I've missed you all and my craft room too!! Can't be away from it for this long ever again, I'm having serious withdrawal symptoms - need to must craft everyday hehe! Needed to share my completed card with you, I will be entering it into the PFP challenge which was to follow a sketch and make your own flowers. OMG this was a real challenge for me as I have never made flowers, it's easier to buy them lol!! Must say I'm quite pleased with how they turned out and I actually quite enjoyed making them too.


The gorgeous glittery papers are all DCWV Nana's Nursery and I've inked all the edges. The sweet stamped image was coloured in using Promarkers and the flowers made with handmade paper from my stash. The rafia ribbon is also from my stash and I coloured it also with Promarkers. I then used some gold spray & sparkle from Crafters Companion over the whole card and flowers for even more shine and glitter, can't keep me away from the glitter lol!

Here is the infamous close up, hope you can see the glitter varnish I used - look carefully hehe! I also have some very exciting news that I would luv to share with you ........ drum roll ......... I have been commissioned to make 9 cards and am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!! Hold thumbs for me please that this will be the start of something good and ongoing business will keep rolling in!!
